Mickey's House (and Minnie's, too) isn't the kind of attraction that usually requires that long of a downtime unless they're going to repaint the whole house, and I thought Toontown just recently got a whole new coat. Odd.

Yeah they did a little over a year ago and sadly its already fading. But they did not paint the inside of Mickey or Minnie's. They just painted the houses and Gadget's Go Coaster. The inside needed some attention though. Mickey still stands on the porch of his house at least.

The Walt Disney Story, like Disneyland RR Guy mentioned, will close on feb 22nd..it might have been close for technical difficulties!

That is a lot of closures! Makes me kind of upset, but think of what we'll have when May comes around!

FWIW, my father works for a landscaping company, and they've just finished preparing bids for landscape work on both Splash Mountain and Jungle Cruise. Apparently it's going to be quite extensive, especially on Jungle Cruise.

Plaza Pavillion will be returning as an eatery. It is currently being used as a stockroom at the moment, but the refurb will take care of that.

not sure. Apart from normal refurbishment there are the new logs (they seat two across on the back row) that will more than likely need to be tested out and ran through ad naseum to placate DOSH.

i've heard that the landscaping redo on jungle will be mainly to remove the bamboo that has run rampant through the ride and restore "location-specific" plantings to the differently-themed locations within the attraction, which should be cool.

Will they ever open up again Fort Wilderness? Does anyone know? From aerial pictures that i've seen...it looks like a very small outdoor attraction could fit there on the Island...that or I think it would be cool if the Canoes Station was built on the Island...this way you have to go on TSI rafts first...
Went to a party the other night
All the ladies were treating me right
Moving my feet to the disco beat
How in the world could I keep my seat
All of a sudden I began to change
I was on the dance floor acting strange
Flapping my arms I began to cluck
Look at me..I'm the disco duck
