The Fort as of now will not open for the 50th.

I'm so glad to see the Cinema is reopening. Am I the only one who cringes whenever it goes down, afraid they won't reopen it?

No I cringe to when they close the Cinema. More so in the Pressler era as I just knew they were going to re-open it as another opportunity to sell plush. He almost suceeded in turning all of Main Street into one giant Disney Store...

    main street

Yep, here's another person hoping to keep mainstreet in the old style. The little bits of character like the Magic Shop should not be paved over for yet another mound of plush animals.
Hopefully something might be doen to advertise that the cinema does indeed still exists though, not the busiest attraction in the park.

Shhhh! Keep it secret! It's the best place to go to cool off on a hot day because no one's in there! =D

I hardly remember it being an eatery...what type of cuisine?
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.

    Rehab

These Merchandise locations were left off the rehab list. Mad Hatter and Once Upon a Time are both closed with remodeling going on. Also Fantasy Faire is scheduled to close next month.

One of my favorite things used to be the burning cabin viewed from the train at night. Anybody think there is a chance that they may bring back the flames?

Main Street Cinema is now open again. Working pretty good too, the green splotches on the projections are gone. One of the projections is not working however.

Speaking of store stuff, I would be neglectful not point out that a significant porition of the Emporium is boarded up right now for construction. The section previously housed the plush dolls at toys (which have since been ported over to Showcase). The refurb is tearing everything out and replacing it with something that it more multipurporse that shelving for stacking dolls. Not sure when it will be done, but at least several more weeks to a month or more.
Not sure if anything special is going on for the painting outside the Emporium. I think it would be slick to give the building some golden highlights for the 50th, but that is just speculation.
