I would assume not since Harrison Ford didn't want to have his likeness used in the ride. Cage on the other hand is the one asking for this. So I'm assuming he'd also lend his likeness to any AA's.

As for the idea, I think it would be fun. But I'd REALLY like to see different storylines for each seperate attraction. Okay to have a National Treasure themed ride in both CA and FL, but if it's at DCA have it be CA Treasure related and whether it be at EPCOT, MGM or MK have it be more nationalized.
Nicholas Cage would likely desire for his likeness to be used for more than one AA figure - like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean.

I agree, it would be wise of Disney to vary the storyline at each resort that the ride is at. It would be cool to have a ride at different parks as per resort - as opposed to placing all of the NT rides at studio parks or at various Disneyland park Adventurelands.

I'd rather see a non movie themed ride period, before I'd want a movie based ride on a mediocre film put in the parks.

They are going to use POTC as the new National Treasure ride. They are going to pull out Jack Sparrow and put in Nicholas Cage's character.

    Growing up is however, optional

In the movie the people being shot did not have anything to shoot back with. Think about the movie for a second and all will become clear.

National Trasure was a box office smash, and the DVDs are extremely successful as well. The verdict is not in on Book of Dreams yet. The trailers reaveal a most interesting storyline, and the action scenes look fantastic What is mediocre about the film? Couldn't we have two rides - one themed to National Treasure and the other non-movie based?

If Disney switches to Geico, the savings should make the replacement of POTCs Jack Sparrow with Cage's character cost effective. No doubt, there would be plenty of room in the budget to add a Lindsay Lohan beer guzzling wench AA as well.

I'm with you Fishy - but I think that I'll move a couple seats back in the boat if you don't mind.

I'd rather take a blockbuster E-Ticket on a mediocre film (National Treasure) rather than a mediocre rehash of a blockbuster Pixar film (Monsters, Nemo, Buzz).
