MG - Thanks for the updates...it gives people like me in Indiana a warm heart thinking of Disneyland...and your play by play makes it seem like we are there.

Happy new Year everyone...I'll be there in late May early June.....

...the Santa Ana winds are starting to kick up. Uh...oh....

Over in DCA, The Lucky Fortune Cookery at DCA is actually open today, but you won't find any Chinese food there -

Turkey Sandwich and Chips - $7.99
Slices of smokes turkey, piled high with tomatoes, lettuce, and Swiss cheese. Served of freshley baked bread.

    Grilled Vegetable Sandwich - $7.99
With red bell peppers, zuchini, lettuce, tomato, Provolone cheese and Portobello mushrooms. Served on freshly baked bread with pesto sauce on the side.

    Chili in a bread bowl - 8.69
Topped with cheddar cheese and onions.

Its nearly 4pm, and Disneyland's gates are still open - so I'm sure you'll be able to get into DCA at 5. We just came back over to DL from DCA and they didn't even check for hand stamps.

Its busy here today, but it seems like it isn't as busy as they were anticipating.

My crystal Magic 8 Ball says...

    ... unknown.

    -----

I will say this though, if you looked at the entertainment schedule for today posted earlier on this thread... there's three radio station listener parties (which they all gave away tickets for) that are at night. I'd say that while it's probably safe to say that DCA won't restrict admissions out tonight (but who knows at this point), if you want to spend NYE at the DLR... it's better to be safe then sorry and just go as early as you can.

Remember, there's no penalty for being early... but there is one for being late and finding yourself stuck in the Esplanade with no where to go.

Because they are cutting it off BEFORE it gets crazy. What I mean is they are simply stopping selling tickets, so as to let everyone in that's already there------I think.

That, and it's not quite the crazed crowds like for the 50th in 2005, and last year. But, it's still early.

I'm actually gonna try to get in at BB tonight for the special dessert menu.

We are getting ready to head down in a bit. Going to check into Candy Cane around 5, go have dinner somewhere and then venture to DCA. We have 2 people buying blockout day tickets, but we are not really worried. We will probably head over to DL after midnight for a few pictures.

5 girls on our way for craziness!
