Anyone know if Fantasmic! played tonight?
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

We just celebrated the new year here out east 30 minutes ago. Friends at Magic Kingdom and Epcot sent me new years wishes, say fireworks went on and were great. Is there any hope left for fantasy in the sky out west?

Just got home from the park, and from the looks of it DCA isn't very crowded ... but it is VERY windy ... making it VERY COLD. Went to eat with the MiceChatters in DCA and ended up buying (and wearing) a ToT bathrobe to keep warm.

Well for those outside California, do remember that especially down in So Cal that warm and cold are relative terms.

If it dips below 70 it's jacket weather.... LOL

I'm still at the Cheesecake Factory, but I'm getting news that around 7:30, The Voice of Disneyland announced that "Believe... In Holiday Magic" was cancelled.

I'm surprised because the show would have still been 2 hours out at that point. I've always seen that they wait until the last minute to break the final news - I guess not tonight!

I guess the New Year's Eve "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks are still not cancelled as of now... but it isn't sounding promising.
That is......... odd!! I never heard that they cancelled the firworks early.

Unfortunately, I didn't go, I changed my mind. It wqas too windy, afriad that there would be no firworks. I will bring the bubbly to the Sunday Meet.

KABC 7 just reported live from Disneyland, stating the fireworks will go off at midnight, they showed the Fantasmic! raft on the ROA, so we shall see.

I think they're just reading copy. If they let those fireworks off tonight, you'll see the embers landing somewhere in Knotts Berry Farm. It's HOWLING outside my door at the moment.

The parking structure would be the first thing to get splattered with embers.

    Not too likely.

The Hub and Main Street is packed - with or without fireworks!

DCA was total party park... Golden State Amphitheater was crazy dance party.

Chatted with the MC Crew in DCA as they headed towards the wine bar. Fun times!

Suburban Legends are probably the most fun in Disneyland. That's a great band.

Less than 30 minutes till countdown!

Hope everybody is having a good time - wherever you're at.

    Happy 2008!
