Disneyland Trip Help!?!

This is my family's first time to dl. We have been to WDW many times so we decide to go where it all began. We are planing to go the week of easter. Does anyone have any tips. Also does anyone know how crowed the park will be during easter week?

Which days and what time will you arrive? The more specific you are the better information we can give.

Easter is a holiday period. Holiday periods = crowded.

DLR isn't very much different then WDW is when it comes to seasonal crowd levels.

Even though it will be very busy and crowded, the Disneyland Resort is more compact than WDW. You only have two parks, Disneyland and DCA, so if you're going to be there for several days you should be able to take in everything. Spring break can be warm, but you won't have the humidity that Florida has. Since you have time, I would say don't rush. Spend the early morning hours taking in the parks, mid day, take a hour or so rest/nap at your motel then head back for the afternoon evening hours. As long as you accept that there will be lines, and people and you can be zen with it and just enjoy the sights then you'll be ok.

Well, for sure there will be your family, and my family of four. <G> I'm sure it will be quite crowded, but I've never been to DL either.

I'm going to be looking for tips on restaurants and any info on interesting stuff to do in the surrounding area also...
