    Cause of Injury : ECV

    So seeing the stroller thread In thought Id start this on behalf of all the CM shins that have been shattered by crazy drivers who cannot control their ECV (electric convenience vehicle) I believe some sort of training should be required to rent these. What do you think? Opionions? Lets hear some ECV stories Like the time someone rammed it into Space mountain my poor space station ;;

    I'm in favor of defensive measures.

    Give us some firepower so we can shoot the tires out.

    Shotguns should be supplied to all CMs.

    My Dad has to use an ECV in the parks. Alot of problems are caused because ECVs have no easy to use breaking device. You let go of the handle and it just keeps going.

    Keeps going? Doesn't stop - sounds like Disney's next E ticket!

    Maybe we can put ECV's on the People Mover track.
    Stalking is when two people go for a long romantic walk together but only one of them knows about it.

    Um... ECV's on the people mover track, themed to The Incredible pods. Or better yet, open up a bumper car like attraction, but fill it with ECV's instead!!

    Well since the PM track has no barrier when someone loses control they will fall to the walkway. This will result in fewer and fewer ECVs in the part. Problem solved!

    Of course they could always "fix" them to a center track, but leave the speed variable on them. That way you would have them speeding up and slowing down all over the place and alternatingly running away and ramming into each other. It could be the Disneyland Road Rage Roadway!

    They can always put strollers up on that track. That will certainly get people to move.

    I forget wiether this happened on New Years Eve, or 4th of July, either way, one of the busiest days of the year. It was just after fireworks in front of the castle, a lot of people were geting to get over to the next showing of Fantasmic, a guest in an ECV decided the fastest way through the crowd was to just ram everyone with their ECV untill they cleared a path one person getting hit at a time. After watching this person hit their 6th person, I made my way over (it was wall to wall people and I was a few people over), I grabed the power key out of the side of it and tossed it into the crowd in the direction behind them so they were powerless in the crowd. A few people cheered, the guest was pissed off and I got out of the area. They were just going to have to wait for the crowd to thin to find their their key.

    Now if only strollers had a feature like that.

    Here's an even better use for the Peoplemover track - The HandiMover

    (It's a bit outdated, but technology marches on)
