Is it just me that thinks the "crowd" threads should become a permanent sticky... since they are on here rather often... it be of better use as a calender broken down by months, then weeks.

Yep, but don't forget the 3 day weekend for MLK day, on the 21st, so that may put a busy cushion around that holiday as well.

That's a great idea. I'm sure I've contributed more than my share of "how busy is it gonna be?" questions. I love the park and try to go as often as possible using my AP, but obviously people on here go alot more often, or work there.

Perhaps a topic titled "Crowd Control - How busy is Disneyland?" could be stickied, and then you just go to the latest page, and work backwards to see how things are currently shaping up?

I still need to try and plan, perhaps a Wednesday next week, which with the 3-day weekend the following week, hopefully that'll push most visitors wanting to go to that holiday. I wish I had someone to have gone with on sunday since it was apparently dead, and I love the cold/chilly/rainy looking weather. Boo!

Re: How are the january crowds?

How about the COMBINATION of the 3 day MLK, Jr. weekend, and the largest convention Anaheim holds every year, the NAMM show with over 75,000 participants.

I would avoid January 16th thru the 22nd.

I have gone the last couple of years on the Friday right after Martin Luther King Day and it has definitely not been crowded.

    It is sticky now.
And that scottware graph is still somewhat relevant.

Maybe we should get into the forecasting business?
Problem with this kind of forecasting is that it's not the weather. Our forecast of human behavior would affect human behavior. We say it is not likely to be crowded, and if enough people read that, they'll come.
