How are the january crowds?

So with the holidays over, and my handful of days off.. I want a disneyland trip. During a weekday, obviously.

How are the january crowds usually? I figure with the holidays, most people aren't looking for another day or two off.

OH to be at Disneyland when it's chilly and overcast, and with minimal crowds! When will Disney make MY dream come true!!

The most crowded weekend will be at the END of the 2-fer.

Disneyland will be fine ... but DCA will be PACKED with everybody getting their last (free) day in.

I was there this morning and it was a very light crowd. I assume that it will get more busy tonight with the after work crowd. Sunday and into next week is when the crowds should get a little bigger since all the Southern CA APs will start being admitted to the park again. Although weekdays in the winter post-Christmas is still usually pretty light compared to the rest of the year. Hence the usual maintenance being done at this time.

I'm thinking this weekend wont be bad, seeing as the rumored "monsoon" is heading twoards us..

And, hopefully all the local Charger fans will be at home watching the game, which is exactly why i'll be at DL.

I agree that the "monsoon" has probably kept folks away. It was quite cool this morning.

Knowing the Chargers are playing sunday, I am planning on going to D-land. Although I am a fan, I don't believe my watching at home helps them in any way win. So if I am at D-land and they are playing (and winning) then it is a win-win for everyone.

I don't get it, I thought ppl that enjoyed DL and it's growth would appreciate it when the parks are full.

I do! Something about waiting 50 minutes to get on POTC though is a bit much.

I love eating at my favorite restaurant too, I just don't want to be on the waiting list for over an hour.

As do I. Waiting 50 minutes to get on anything is a bit much. Not to mention, the more people, the more the bottle necks get even worse in Adventureland and Tomorowland. Not to mention that drive by strollerings tend to increase with crowds.

Increased attendance is a good thing, but it was just nice to have the park in a bit of a down time. Get back to a leisurely pace if only for a few weeks a year.

I was there today until around 6 or 7 when the rain really started coming down. Peter Pan hovered at around 40 minutes from noon till 4:00 then went up to at hour at 5. Indy was at 45 minutes before it broke down at 5:00... which is when my FP started...
