Over on your right is the Temple of the Forever line.

Up on our left is the rarest animal in the jungle, the african bull elephant, you will not see another one of those again on our trip. And up on the right is...that's...a polar bear.
I heard from the locals that one of the hippos recently had a baby...if we listen closely we might be able to hear it...Ma Ma... BANG! BANG! (that was the gun) don't worry guys, I got it.

Yeah but I was really pissed off today when I went on the jungle cruise because the water fall (back side of water) was not working. It was extremely upsetting.
I like the whole ride, except for the very end.
The whole "two heads of his for one of yours" line is so horrible and boring because no matter how different the rest of the narration is I've never heard them talk about Trader Sam with any other words.
The Jungle Cruise needs a sock monkey

I love that site! I have spent a few times over there...
Jungle Cruise happens to be one of my favorite attractions at DL. There are many wonderful jokes. Half the fun is the spontaneity of the Skipper piloting the boat. Does the name Maynard ring a bell?
Best jokes, in my humble opinion:
Going into the temple: Skipper points overhead and says "First attempt at the Monorail system".
The monkey statue: "That's Billy. He's My Idol" I also never tire of them calling him Bob.
The Sleeping Zebra: "The lions are trying to decide on light meat, dark meat, light meat, dark meat"
Over at the attacking natives: "Everyone be really quiet. If you listen closely, you can hear the natives say Disco." Everyone is quiet and listens, then hears the natives say "Disco". (I still listen closely to hear it every time.)
My husband's favorite Maynard joke: The toucans just past the backside of water. He asks one he has named Koko "Are we going the right way KoKo?" KoKo the Toucan shakes his head "No."
The runner up to Maynards par excellence performance as a JC Skipper must go to the guy who did a Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter) impression for the snake in the tree bit. He jumped up onto the crate opposite the steering wheel, and did a spot on impression. No one else has come close to making me laugh at that spot since.
The jokes about Trader Sam's dinner parties are always classic.
Then there are the occassional witty remarks as we are to exit the boats.
Someday I dream of Skippering just one JC trip. I think I would do a good job. :0
