Isn't South Harbor not the greatest area? I know Anaheim has it's spots, but like Harbor near the 22 is skeevy. Near that Target. Is that where this new theme park will be? A whole fancy resort in a scary area! Yay!

Wait, when do they park Pumba? Isn't it when the park is beyond crowded?

The best thing to happen to the DLR would be a major amusement park opening up in Garden Grove. If this ever happens the competition will be immense and for the first few years hopefully this will result in unprecedented upgrades to the DLR arera.

I thought maybe you were confused, there's talk about a theme park in the city of Garden Grove, not the Gardenwalk.

Maybe not in a few years though, it could really help bring investment and a ton of money to the city so the area will be cleaned up and roads improved. The only people who will really be hurt are those who won't be able to afford the increased property values and will be forced to move.

The plan is for GardenWalk to be between Disney Way and Katella, with Clementine the east border.

Those people matter though. They are the people that may end up working at this new theme park. Sorry... kinda' hot topic with me.

I know that Garden Grove has already talked to Hard Rock park in Myrtle Beach, SC about building a Hard Rock Theme Park in Garden Grove. All talks are VERY preliminary and blue sky at the moment. Hard Rock Park is focused on getting their first park opened and off the ground.
