    Romance at Disneyland

Hey everyone! My partner and I both work at the park, and I want to surprise him with a very romantic trip to the park. We both love Disneyland, but working there can really change a persons perspective. I'm looking to possibly stay one night at one of the Disneyland Hotels, being that its not expensive, but does anyone suggest any hotels near the resort that isn't so kiddish? Also anyone have any suggestions for a very nice time in the park with your partner? Just remember I do work at Disneyland, so I'm on a budget haha Thanks everyone in advanced!

i can suggest going on those rides you normally wouldn't...
go on things that make you laugh. just spending time together as a couple is romantic. share a funnel cake. get something to eat and split it, or get some food in tomorrowland or fantasyland and just enjoy the atmosphere...

We love to stay at the Anaheim Hilton. Get a room at the executive level with a view of the park. My partner and I do that all the time. We cozy up on our couch in front of the window and watch the fireworks together. Then we stay up (well, I do) most of the night watching the lights on the Sun Wheel...the patterns are amazing!

If you can't swing the executive level, just go for a room with a park view, high up as possible. You will never want to be in the park at night again! When the fireworks are over, you don't have to fight strollers...you just hop back in bed!

    Thanks for making the magic.

I would recommend staying away from where you work if at all possible (specific locations... not "the park" in general). At some point I would also recommend some of the quieter locations where most people don't go, Thunder Trail... Snow White's Garden... most of Critter Country... DCA... Sometimes it is fun to be in a crowd but the crowd can usually sap the romance out of a couple so there is always that need to just get away.

As for romantic attractions at night; Thunder, Jungle, Tiki, Storybook, Haunted Mansion, Steam Trains... also Matterhorn is fun, and sometimes the classics can be fun since they are a tight squeeze.

    Re: Romance at Disneyland

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I just made a reservation at the Paradise Pier, it was only $99 a night. You really can't beat that deal on Disney property. I also will look into the Anaheim Hilton for future stays because I have only heard good things about them! Also good suggestion for avoiding the parts where we work, we just haven't actually visited the park in a while, and want to feel like were at Disneyland and not just work. I will post pictures of course. Thanks again!
