    Tower of Terror

Has anyone ever been stuck on Tower of Terror?

    If so what happened?

I've been on it when it stopped, it was only stuck for a couple minutes and they announced we will be back on our way soon.

I've never rode ToT (never will), but just thinking about getting stuck on that ride is giving me gooseflesh. =(

Oh it can't be too bad. At least you're setting, possibly enjoying a view. Now that I think about it, it could be romantic.

Also, the thing itself falls faster than gravity. There is no harm.

Never say never! It really is not to be missed. Every time I've been on it there have been little kids barely tall enough. Every one of them loved it. I've never seen a kid crying after the ride. Stand by the exit, you'll see nothing but smiles!

There's only one way screaming is romantic, and the security would probably escort out of the park if it happened on the TOT.

Your way of thinking is what wakes me up in the morning.

Aww, you should try it. I say that as a guy who nearly backed out of riding ToT his first time due to some bad memories with other free-fall rides. But I braved it out, and I was actually disappointed by how tame it seemed! So unless you have a medical reason...I say give it a shot. It really isn't a terrifying, uber-thrilling, puke-your-spleen-out sort of ride. It's just a fun jaunt up and down a few times, with an immersive queue, cool special effects, and a nice view of the parks at the top. Not at all a difficult ride.

Very uneventful getting stopped in the shaft while on ToT. The car is hard stopped, and then the work lights come on. You're then lowered to the loading area you got on from, and are escorted off the Elevator. No grand deal.

Perhaps some added sparks and burnt smells would add to the ambiance ...
