Where's the Viewliner?

So...Where's the Viewliner today? It says on Matterhorn 1959's blog that:
"As far as I know, the cars were sent to scrap. The rails and ties were purchased by Ollie Johnston for his Deer Park and Julian Narrow Guage railroad at his cabin in Julian. I believe John Lasseter now owns the track as well as the Narrow Guage engine and train."

Ollie Johnston is an old Disney animator, and here's info on the railroad park:

FYI...you can still ride on the very close cousin of the Viewliner up at the Oregon Zoo. Scroll down on this page for some info on the "Zooliner":

Disneyland's was loosely based on the old real and full scale GM Aerotrain locomotive...which turned out to be a bust in real life. Disneyland's scale model had a different body design than the real Aerotrain. The Portland Zoo's version was basically a scaled down replica of the real deal.

John Lasseter does not own a Viewliner. No one does.

Gordon & Mumford discuss the Viewliners (there were two) in "Disneyland The Nickel Tour."

"...we leave the trains parked backstage in a storage shed behind Fantasyland. On April 13, 1959, Disneyland made an offer to donate the old Viewliners as parking lot trams for the proposed Dodger Stadium in Elysian Park, near downtown Los Angeles....When the Dodger Stadium plan fell through, Walt proposed using the Viewliners to connect the Stadium with nearby Griffith Park. But there were no takers there either, and so the little trains just waited in their shed.
And there they sat, until the late 1970's..." at that time they were dismantled, cut up and scrapped.

Lasseter does own Ollie Johnston's small Porter steam engine, called the "Marie E." after Ollie's wife. He also own the caboose. All the equipment has been lovingly restored--unlike the Viewliners.
