they would need to be much better than the majority of the very limited
movements found in Monsters Inc. This ain't the time for DCA to be
going cheap on us. Especially when this is one attraction that many will

of the 1st major improvements of the infamous 1 Billion Dollar Budget that
is to upclass and set the new Standard for this challenging park.
Disney attempted to go cheap on us at DCA the first time around - and guests avoided it like the plague. Glendale knows that this is their last chance to redeem the image of the park as nothing more than a 2fer freebee deal, or as an overflow "holding area" when Disneyland is too crowded.

I never thought i would here muself and others saying this - but DCA may well set the new standard for immersive and innovative theme parks.

one of the problems with that video is that it shows the ride using a overhanging peter pan type system.

when it's been reportred that the actual ride wil have an omimover system like HM

While reading through the AA posts, I had an image flash in my head of an AA Ariel pushing herself up on that rock during a "Part of your World" part of the ride. Hey, I can dream, can't I?

Thanks-- I hadn't seen that yet.

I think this ride could be a welcome addition to my DLR experience.

The show building is going to be quite large - the length extending from Parafise Pier to the current Golden Dreams building, which will be converted into the rede's exit. It will be at least two levels in height as well - whether one of the levels wll be underground I do not know.

I hope it does use the Peter Pan ride system. I love the idea of being able to see above you in the Under the Sea scene and under the Kiss the Girl scene. I don't think that will be achieved as well with an omnimover system because quite a bit of space would be needed under the floor for the ride mechanism. With the other system, the floor would only have to support the AAs and props.

I sure hope so. Disneyland is the original, the park that Walt himself built, and even though it doesn't get as many visitors as WDW (don't know how it compares to the other parks), that fact alone should make it the showplace of all the parks. And if not THE showplace, it should at least get the exact treatment that the other parks get when it comes to quality.

Apart from the vehicular change of plan, many of the scenes are similar to what we will experience in the actual ride.

The omnimover system is being touted - owever it's still quite possible that a Peter Pan system could be in the cards. Never say never until the fat crockadile sings.
