    Expedition Everest

I just came back forom WDW and rode Expedition Everest for the first time
it is one of my favorite attractions in all of Disney
so it got me thinking... the imagineers should build some kind of backwards dark rollercoaster in the new DCA or the unused Big Thunder Ranch Area in DLP

I'd rather have a WRE and Thunder Mesa in Frontierland, with the BBQ and Indian village I dream of. If you're going to put in such a coaster, it'd be great in DCA where they're looking to pack in the people.

Amen, Junthor. Frontierland has a lot of space and needs some love, pronto.

It would be better if they put something like that at DCA. The Big Thunder Ranch area does need something, but there is unfortunately not enough space.

ORDDU: Well, I'd rather have the Kissing Booth that was discussed on another topic thread, recently. You know--the one filled with all the many Disney hunks that would be there to pucker up and make me feel like I'd just smooched the happiest face on Earth.

I'll take either idea just as long as they do something with this area. Not the kissing booth one, though.

Expedition Mt. Whitney!!! The Mt. Whitney Adventure!!!

Maybe Bigfoot can make an appearance... And then we could fit it into the DCA theme...

    When can I ride???
Check out My Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 rides... I'm always working on another one... I hope they make you want to go to Disneyland.

definitaly(sp) this could work in DCA. that's a good idea. A ride similar to EE could be placed around Grizzly Peak and the mountian could just be the same Bear thing. I guess instead of a Yeti at the end it could be a bear? It would be bad if it was just a copy of EE with a few minor changes, but that's all I can think of...

The backwards part of Everest almost made me ill. But if they can think of a theme, concept, idea, whatever that works, you have my blessing.

I love Expedition Everest but I think something that goes outside like that would make way too much noise for that area. Not the Screams, the trains themselves.

    Re: Expedition Everest

The trains hardly make any noise at all. I know, I was there this last Christmas and the only noise I heard coming from that mountain were riders screaming as they plunged from that awesome drop.

I wouldn't mind seeing something like that here, but not a copy. There are certain rides that should be exclusive inly to their original parks. Everest should only be in Animal Kingdom. Spaceship Earth should only remain in Epcot. Matterhorn Bobsleds should only remain in Disneyland.

Frankly, after riding Maelstrom in Epcot, I wish Disneyland would have some sort of attraction like it. Of course, not about Norway, but about myths and legends and have a backwards part. Although I enjoyed Maelstrom, I felt it was way too short and wish Disneyland would extend it.

If they stuck it in Carsland, then Yeti the abominable snowplow could inhabit the mountain and offer visitors snow cones. For budget purposes, they could reuse that same voice actor that appears in all the Pixar movies.
