New Attractions that can go to the new DCA

i posted a thread about an expedition everest type ride

that should go to the new DCA [with a california theme] maybe a gold rush ride where you are in a cave with gold (or is that too much like big thunder mountain)

they should also add a phantom manor (but take the haunted mansion like scenes out) and add the part in WDW that is not in the DLP version. also make the theme more of a gold rush age Mansion

i have a lot of gold rush ideas
    post some of your ideas

I like the idea of a Gold Rush era, but that is too... Frontier Land.

Where exactly do you propose these attractions go in DCA's Grizzly area?

A Gold Rush ride does seem too much like Big Thunder. I'm also not very familiar with Phanton Manor but I think there might be too many similarities to HM to really be able to build that in DCA.

Re: New Attractions that can go to the new DCA

After riding Expedition Everest last year, I wrote to Disney asking them to put a similar ride in DCA. I suggested that they theme it to California by calling it "Mt. Whitney Wilderness Adventure" and use Sasquatch instead of the Yeti.

The response I got was from their lawyers saying that they don't use ideas from customers. They only accept ride ideas from companies and only when they ask for them.

    A little discouraging.

How about a ride that takes inspiration from the Winchester Mystery House instead of HM or PM? It would still be California themed and it wouldn't be redundant with HM right next door.

I just had a thought of a castle for DCA. Hearst Castle. Hearst Castle is awesome, is relevant to california, everybody knows it, and it is one of the most expensive things built here in california. What do you think?

Hearst Castle would be awesome, if they are sticking with California adventure as the park theme. However, I'd rather they scrap it, and make the lands more concentrated amongst themselves. Specifically, I'd like to explore Narnia.

I said this before in a thread long ago. But DCA should add some type of Ski-lift,sky bucket ride that spans the entire park? Ski lift might be a little dangerous but some type of gondola type ride....

A gondola would be great. Question, do you think the gondola should connect both parks together? Like start in Fantasyland and End in Paradise Pier? I'd love that, but then every ticket is a park hopper at that point.

Not discouraging at all. Disney is just guarding against someone asking for millions of dollars for "stealing" their idea.

While I would enjoy something based on Hearst Castle, or the Winchester House, I doubt it would be possible due to the legalities of using a likeness. I am sure if Disney wanted to shell out the money they could do it, but I doubt they would. I would rather have them build giant fake sequoias... and really fix up the trail! I put a post on here somewhere about that.
