Little bit of neon, possible Eat at Joe's, and we're good!

I agree with this sentiment. Yes Disney could design a different castle logo for each park, but that would mean that every item that gets the logo needs to be ordered and stocked for each park separately. I guess they could do it but it is not near the top of my lists of battles worth fighting.

Boy...that'd sure be a terrible burden for the company to hold on its shoulders.

(Sorry if I seem a little nasty today; I'm sick, and I've got work to do. But I love you all! Truly I do! )

Sorry. No pics. It was pouring rain at the time. The rd and wd lettering looks nice highlighted in gold but imo it should have been left alone only to be pointed out by the concieege to the winner. This way it would accentute to the winner that they are in fact staying in a suite originally designed for Walt vs something tailor made just for the occasion and unfortunately something so special and hidden turned into something arbitrary and trivial. .

In a word... No. The Club 33 sign is tucked away in a doorway, down a street. And, it is simply the street number of the door.

This sign is out in plain view, where we get to walk by, and have it advertised that the Dream Suite is there, but ha ha... Here it is! You can't go in, you can't see it.

Much different than the Club 33 sign.

I find it interesting that they wait 30+ years to 'devulge' that it was a private apartment for Walt. If I win, I'll like the sign a whole lot. It's like Club 33.

i really dont like the sign. Another reminder that most people are not allowed to go up to the one specail place that they could connect with walt disney. True walt disney never stepped foot in there it gave us fans another connection to his past at disneyland and now they have taken that way except for a few lucky guests. i mean this is why we got the mickey penthouse suite! at least with that you could leave your room if you had to go say for a walk to get to sleep but you are stuck in the suite from closing to opening the next morning.

I see your rationale, but the 2 are comparable. Both are exclusive, it's just one sign is easier to see due to its location.

Not only the location.

One simply says "33". To the average guest who has never heard of Club 33, it is just a decoration.. an address of the door on the street.

This one is very prominent, and says "Disneyland Dream Suite" It is very clearly marked, and does not at all try to hide what it is. It is a tease.

From all the threads on this board about how YOAMD doesn't work and no one knows what the promotion is I think it would be safe to assume the average guest won't know that they are being deprived of anything.

Nothing more low key than that.
This is kind of what I was thinking, too. I don't know that the sign is necessary, really. I'd think it would actually make more people climb the stairs to see what it is, which would be really frustrating to me to discover that I can't see inside, let alone go inside!

Why does it say "Disneyland" on the top? Do guests forget where they are?

I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, but it does make me sad.
