Probably added for the winning family photo-op.
Then they should have put in on the inside of the door, facing out. I am not liking that tacky-tacky sign up there at all, and I wish it would go away.

My question is, what are they going to do with this suite after the YOAMD campaign is over? I'm sure this has been covered endlessly in other threads, but humor me.

If it's a temporary thing, then it makes perfect sense for them to use the word "Dream" and the "Dream-esque" sign style. In this case the suite has no existence outside of the campaign.

If it's a more or less permanent alteration, than obviously the signage should also reflect that.

ehhh, gate is almost pointless since you know day Guests will see that huge sign and... ohh look shiny I want a picture... Not sure why they have the peacock flag up, that looks absolutely ridiculous, as to the other sign, could have dressed it up. I mean come on they've plastered everything else with clouds and ribbons... why not a simple little sign... as to the security cam it could have been more discreet but I think they want people to see it. Like Magic Mountain, half the security works, the other half is just a visible deterrent. I would rather have had the initials in a darker shade of green, so they would still be set off but a lot more subtle... just me.

In a nutshell:

Street talk seems to favor the rumor of Club 33 expansion into the space.

Although it could also be placed into inventory for sale to the public as luxury accommodations or as part of wedding packages, etc.

Or that for awhile, and then Club 33.

But to answer your question...no one really knows for sure as Disney has not officially announced anything about its use after YOMD. Some Cast Members have said they've "heard" it goes to Club 33. But nothing confirmable.

I don't mind the signage so much as I am not too sure about the gold lettering. Looks "off" to me.

Let's see it seawolf.

How about we ask people to share their ideas of what the signage should look like. If you have Photoshop or whatever, do up something and share it. I love hearing what people think, but I also love to see what they can do.

yuck, it looks tacky. there should be no sign at all, given its exclusivity to daily winners.

Re: New Disneyland Dream Suite signage - What do you Think?

now malice, you and I know very well that if there isn't a sign guests will ask OVER and OVER...."What that up there?" LOL That is like asking, "What time is the 5 O'Clock Parade?" Ha ha! I personally think it would be great if they put it in the park maps that they hand out. Explain what it is and that it is for those who are lucky enough to have their dreams comes true. Or, something like that. LOL

Re: New Disneyland Dream Suite signage - What do you Think?

The Disneyland Dream Suite has a sign for a rather obvious reason, guests do not associate the location with anything. Cinderella Castle, and a night inside, is a clear prize with a clear location and no signage.
