PretzelSouls Trip Report

I arrived at the Disneyland parking structure around 8:45a.m. As I pulled up to pay for the parking ($11) - a cast member came up and said "Hello, you're money is no good today!" and I looked at him like he was crazy. He handed me a sheet of paper and said "Congrats! You have just been rewarded free parking because you are the guest of the day!" He told me to follow him in the van and so I followed him to this outside parking spot right across the street from the tram and there was a sign that said "Guest Car Of The Day" I was super happy!
I had planned on having breakfast with a friend at the Carnation Cafe, but sadly due to the rain they were closed We decided not to be disapointed and just go on with our lives

We went straight over to Adventureland We Cruised the Jungle Cruise! The skipper was friendly & thought my micechat shirt was ''intersting''.

We didn't know what to do so we headed over to Fantasyland to ride the teacups. Umph, they were wet, but still fun!



The Matterhorn was calling to me so I couldn't miss that, I got a little wet on it but with the weather that was coming later in the day it wouldn't have made a difference!

By this time it was about 11:50 and I wanted to make sure I was there for the noon meet and group pic so I headed over to the hub and had a seat on the bench. I noticed a few people walking around but couldn't tell if they were micechatters so I decided to wait a few more minutes. Finally, I noticed a couple people that were passing out name tags so I went up and got mine I met a few people then ran into PurpleDove, she's so awesome - I really enjoyed talking to her!

I was sad that I was unable to see Dan-Tasmic but as soon as I saw this little stitch in a store in Adventureland I thought of him and had to get it.

Stitch was having trouble pulling the sword out of the stone!

Stitch enjoyed looking in the Mad Hatters Shop.

He stole my photopass!

Time to go on Casey Jr.

And now for the storybook canal boats! We were on the Tinkerbell boat
It was around 5:30 and we decided to head through the shops and get a snack.
Stitch liked the coffee cup...



Last stop was to get a Mickey shaped pretzel & cheese!

I had a great time and everyone was super friendly - hopefully I can make it back next year! Thank you DustySage,Monorail Man and everyone else! You all really made me feel welcomed

Great deal PS. Awesome you were the parking guest of the day. With rain, that's a big prize. Sorry I missed you there. I'm sure you know you are welcome to come to any of the meets, you don't have to wait until there are 200+ people.

Glad you made it to the meet!! It was so busy I didn't have a chance to say much to you, but glad to have gotten a chance to see you anyway! Hope you will be able to make it to more meets in the future!

Your pictures are great. I am glad you got to meet some people but remember there is always more so you have to come back again and again and again. Your the first MCer that I know who has gotten guest car of the day so congrats!
