    Thank you Dusty Solo!

Now it is saying something to say 9th place. Because when I tried to think of teams that didn't place in the top 10 that I kept seeing all day, the most I could come up with was about, well, another 10!
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

We could easily have signed up another 50 to 100 people but we were limited to 200.

    And those are the stats.
Very cool! Now I really feel good about a top ten placement!

Hey we came and watched it with you Actually ... I was hoping to score myself a glass of wine while we were waiting for the show but their wasn't enough time Of course we had no idea we were in the lead at this time.

The glass of wine was about the only reason I was going to try for Seasons of the Vine. Now I wish we'd squeezed it in, if only to have tied with Katrina!

I almost forgot, but for some reason my AP would not work on ANY of the FP machines in DLR. Then when we went into DCA it played a snippet of the Fantasmic! music ... what the hell was that about???? Anybody know?

As one of those unknown, lurking and incognito to the point where I decided to not wear my lanyard and was scheduled to be on a plane when everyone was getting into the awards thing, I was amazed at how chipper the people I saw were. They had no "there's a staffer look happy" reason to smile, since they didn't know I was watching, but they were. I saw one team that looked tired, but they were still pleasant.

When I go with my family (I was there on a solo, whirlwind trip of my own for under 48 hours) at some point we're bickering, so you'd expect other to do so, but nope!

    That's what impressed me.

That's the team that went to the wrong location to turn in their packet, right?

You did...darn that you couldn't have walked just a little bit slower back to Tortilla Joes!! Maybe next year, you could add a navigator to your team roster?
