But the point was supposed to just be to prove you were on the ride. If it's something that was hard to see or you could only see from certain angles then, IMO, something was wrong.

I think any team that showed up and marathoned it all day should be proud, regardless of how they placed.

Of course, that's easy for me to say. Did I mention we finished in the Top Ten?

The last place team (mine) was very proud of their efforts! Those said efforts are mentioned below.

While I'm not privy to that information, I'm guessing that team's first attraction involved mass quantities of bacon, and a waiter named Kevin.

It must take a lot of work to score that low. But with a lot of practice, you did it!

It was a really hard ride for us to come up with a question for at all. We tested it with 4 different folks before the event and they all got it right, so we weren't worried about using it.

On those attractions where people made the same common mistakes, if we could tell you went on it by the way you answered, you still got the points. The goal was not to answer questions, but to ride the rides. We only use the questions as a method for proving that. Teams that were thrown by the incorrect possible answers listed on the Star Tours question or by the wording of the Tea Cup question all got the points if they attempted the attraction and an answer.

But by and large, most of the questions had a single simple answer and those were counted as a missed attraction if you got them wrong.


And that's the way it was - Gumball Rally 2, now part of the collective history of MiceChat.

And that ^ is the best way to explain what it takes to put on a Gumball Rally.

First he was Dusty Wan - helpful and leading his apprentice

Then he became Dusty Vader - just a little evil

Somehow, he became Dusty the Hut, just as evil, but with many evil minions all around him.

Now, it's over, it was fun and he gets to be super nice "Princess Dusty of Alderaan!"

congratulations to the winners. I saw a few teams Saturday competing and everyone looked like they were having a blast.

WOW! I can't believe the Dapper Dan-cers made it to the top 10!!

If only the Matterhorn hadn't broken down on us. We were on the first big lift...not to the yeti yet and we had to wait to be rescued and escorted out those two points would have put us tied with 5th place. We also had an Autopia FP we didn't have time to use, and several easy no wait points left on the table (Snow White, Pinnochio, Carrousel, ect) Oh well...

Looking forward to next year!

Actually I put 3, and added it could be 4 if we counted the tilted light. I covered all the bases! I also corrected the Wispy's Pub question, crossed it out and put Winky's.
