I actually did too. If there were too many corrections, please forgive me. The English teacher in me started correcting the grammar and spelling while waiting on attraction lines.

And thank you to EVERYONE who helped put this together. I can't believe we pulled in the top 10! It truly was an experience, and I loved being a part of this great event! I'm looking forward to next years, and even a WDW one (Hopefully it's in the summer, when teachers have off?)

Well, since my teammate and captain of the team wanted to do the Alterna Rally I am proud of those 11 points.

He wanted to do the Main Street vehicles- all of them, go see HSM2 pep rally, Aladdin, Princess Fantasy Fair. For all of you that did not particpate in the rally those were not at all part of the Rally. My teammate was only shooting for a single digit, so I am happy for my double digit!

Coming to see Seasons of the Vine put you over the top. In fact, the top two teams saw the film as well. Good strategy.

I had a great time hanging with the Alterna Team.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

I think I would have gotten more points than you guys ... and I wasn't even playing, just video taping.

    Let's see, I did:

    Dumbo
    Gadget's Go Coaster
    Astro Orbiter
    Haunted Mansion
    Screamin' (twice)
    50 First Years movie
    Maliboomer

How many points would that have been?

I think that would have been a tie.

Good job for all of the participants of the Gumball Rally!

I wonder what kind of prizes they gave for the winners?

We said 3.5. Two right side up, one upside down and a half canoe being built. We wrote out the explanation too.....so didn't want to miss points for being dorks.

If only the Matterhorn hadn't broken down on us. We were on the first big lift...not to the yeti yet and we had to wait to be rescued and escorted out those two points would have put us tied with 5th place. We also had an Autopia FP we didn't have time to use, and several easy no wait points left on the table (Snow White, Pinnochio, Carrousel, ect) Oh well...
We thought of you guys all day, as we saw you get walked off--I knew by the looks on your faces that you didn't get the answer. We got walked off BTMRR, but after we had the answer. Then we walked past the pools of water and got to verify. (3!)

And we were honest--we knew the answer to the Storybook Land question because you could see it from Casey Jr., but we did NOT write it down. We're getting heaven points for that one, I know it.

Here's a good sign of hard core DisneyDorkism. I knew the SBLCB answer without having to go on it. I'm not sure if my teammates were amazed or stunned at my dorkiness.

We rode the ride with a family of people who had never been to Disneyland. It was great talking with the Dad. Liz even gave the 2 year old girl a pretzel. Now that's the spirit of Disneyland!

We can't get you back your original packet, but if you are willing to pay for postage and printing, we'll send you out a blank one.

Just PM me if you are interested.

    Well, we did:
Horse Drawn Street Car = 0 points (not part of the rally)
    Railroad (missed one part though)
    Opera House
    Haunted Mansion
Seasons of the Vine - We saw the 4:00 show and hung around talking and had the fruit and cheese plate. When we left we saw the people arriving for the 5:00 show.

So yeah, you would have bet us easily!

    Re: Gumball Rally '08 Results

Yay, I'm tied for last place!!!!

Of course, I would have gone on more if more teams had come to DCA earlier.

At one point, I stood outside of Big Thunder for 20-30 minutes and didn't see one team to ride with/video tape.

So when I put it together, and your not there, you know why.

Although, I do believe I got video of most teams.

    Re: Gumball Rally '08 Results

Like everyone else, I want to thank Dusty and everybody who worked so hard to make this event come together. Turned out even better than the first one, really. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun at Disneyland! Team PBJT really came through on this one, not one bit of drama or moment of tension all day long, just fun, fun, and more fun, even if we were almost falling down exhausted by the end of the day.

    Thank you so much, MiceChat!
