Anyone get the Extra Hour Dream Last night 1/29? (Merged)

Did anyone else here get the extra hour in the park Dream yesterday? A friend called me and said he had an extra lanyard/ticket for the event so I rushed down to the park. It was amazing what we were able to actually get done in an hour. I went on Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Space Mountain, Peter Pan, Mr Toad twice, Snow White and Dumbo.

I wonder how long that would take to do those on a normal day.

I've never been a fan of the Year of a Million Dreams but this was a nice experience.

That's awesome. I don't think I'd do Nemo if I only had an extra hour at the park. Just because that ride is almost 20 mins long.

As we were on the Walt tour, they were giving out lanyards on our tour path so everyone on my tour got one! I got a pretty good tip, maybe I was wrong about this YOAMD thing, lol.

After Hours YOAMD Event Yesterday

Did anyone go the the extra hour event last night? On what attractions and at what time were the passes passed out. I went to the park last night for a few hours but couldn't find one.

Re: After Hours YOAMD Event Yesterday

I went - from what I saw everything was open in Fantasyland. Announced was BTMRR, Space Mtn, Indiana Jones Adv., Nemo and Matterhorn (Which was changed because it was in rehab)

It was not that great seeing as it was a really slow day at the park. We all were gathered in the former Huntchback arena and were forced to listen to really BAD dj playing cheesy songs and trying to get everyone to do the "Hokey Pokey" while the park was cleared. It was pure torture.

On a busy summer day, this would be a fine "dream" but a 1/2 hour of "Mambo #5" and High School Music songs is more like a nightmare...

Big thumbs down...

Re: After Hours YOAMD Event Yesterday

This is a dream prize that has good intentions, but will probably not work well when executed. Since the prize has to be run on a day when the park closes early, and by definition these are usually slow days, the prize value is limited. The best days to win would be on a really busy day, but those usually have a late night close time anyways so it just doesn't work well.

My friends and I won this, but were leaving to head back home to NorCal last night. We were bummed as it would have been awesome! We found a pair that didn't have one and handed them off... *sigh*

BUMMED.

Haunted Hottie-

I wish it was me you found and given your passes to... When my Sister and I couldn't manage to get any on rides we were hoping we could get one that way but no luck there either.

Sorry that you didn't win them... it seems to me that prizes like these will be given away in areas off the beaten track. We were walking through the Tomorrowland entrance to the castle by way of Snow White's Wishing Well.

Good luck to us both next time!

We got ours across from the Stagedoor Cafe by the Rivers of America. Then they were at the exit of Splash Mtn later on.

How did they handle the Park clearing and so on? Did they have the 'dreamers' gather somewhere while they 'fumigated' the Park?

Ah, the days of three Fantasmic! shows, two Electrical Parades, two day parades, fireworks, and closes at 1am.
1995. What a summer.

Main St. had a "hard close" so no "additional hour" for shoping. CM's were posted at the enterances to the lands and near BTMRR where we saw them directing guests to the exit and checking for the lanyards.
