I would want that in the area behind BTMRR though.Originally Posted by Dustysage
And I agree I would like a little mermaid ride in DCA at the pier but if not there I would love it to be in the old motor boat area.
I want a Villain Mountain too, but I don't think there's room in that area to do it justice. Put a solid C or D ticket in the old Motorboat Canal, and put a Villains E-ticket in the sprawling Festival Arena (there's so very much room back there that a mountain could co-exist with the proposed Woody's Roundup).Originally Posted by Dustysage

I vote for a Beauty and the Beast dark ride or sit-down restaurant. It's one of the most successful Disney films, yet it has no attraction whatsoever. Little Mermaid has a meet-n-greet next to tomorrowland, a restaurant at DCA, and King Triton's Carousel. If not Beauty and the Beast, then sure, slap a Little Mermaid ride in there.
Where is the motor boat area??Anybody have a pic???

In response to the requests for Villians Mountain, I have a suggestion that shouldn't cost much money; Keep the Villians Store inside the castle courtyard! The last time I was there, it had converted to a shop that prints your family crest. Who needs that? Give me a store filled with Villians merch to throw money at.
/\ The motor boat area is right behind the Matterhorn.
Hey dude thats a intersting thing my moms friend owns that place so dont talk down to itOriginally Posted by cubsd

She owns a shop in Disneyland? Still, my opinion is the same, the Villian's Shop was better.
Doesn't Le Bat en Rouge sell villains stuff? I thought it was supposed to, but that store seems to be mainly Nightmare Before Christmas.

It was 95% Nightmare before Christmas when I was there.
What the motorboats are replaced with probably depends on whether or not they're going to fill it in. If it gets filled in, I'm betting we'll get Mickey's Philharmagic; if not, I suspect it'll be a boat-dark ride, something new around a C-level. My sense is that they're more likely to leave the water. So Ariel is a possibility. Philharmagic would also work well across the Esplanade at HPB.
I don't think there's enough room there (at the motor boat area) for any sort of E-level attraction; I'm also not sure that DL is going to get any E-tickets within the next five years, since DCA has such a glaring need for more attractions. In a tight capital development budget, and a long planning, development, and deployment cycle, the squeaky Sun Wheel gets the grease. If they plop an E-ticket into Disneyland, it'll probably be out by the ranch.
1) Little Mermaid dry-for-wet dark ride/Eric's seaside kingdom for queue
2) Captain Hook's Pirate Ship and Skull Rock
3) Peaceful Bambi boatride for grandma & tots
Well, I just had this brainstorm the other day, but before I give it I need to as ka question-What is bakstage behins Toontown? If there is available space, I suggest moving it back a little. I was never a big fan a Toontown-I don't like it's look. Something about it, it doesn't seem cartoon-y enough. I know we live in a realistic world and there's onlt so much you can do, but it just doesn't seem like they did as well in the style and look as they could. And there isn't enough to do so I'm glad they are trying to fix it. The one thing I like about the show 'House of Mouse' is how it gets that idea of bringing the characters together as it does, and Toontown consists of mainly the Big 5 and Roger Rabbit. Either they need to start making more room for it alone or make it a park of Fantasyland, another feasible idea. The problem strategically and "geographically" in terms of the park alone, there is little or no room to expand, so if you move Toontown back a little, or just scrap it all together and use the space for Fantasyland only, that takes care of the problem. I hear a lot of good ideas out there for little Mermaid stuff and a lot of other things that would work.
I would also suggest that part of Toontown, in some major renovation, have a little black & white cartoons section, with, say, old Mickey and Minnie running around. It may be a good idea, I don't know, but I rather like it. My goddaughter is not even 2 yet and she was able to recognize Steamboat Willie Mickey of a DVD box, so it has been on my mind. If not a whole area, it may lend itself to just some sort of darkride thing.
Sorry to write so much, but this is good timing for a thought like this...![]()
