"I Hate Giving A Name For My Trip Report" Trip Report for 02/10/08

I arrived at the park for the park opening as any usual Sunday morning for a trip to Disneyland.

As soon as I entered the park, I spotted the Chinese New Year backdrop for Mickey and Minnie, so I went towards it to get a photo op of it.

I wanted to take a picture with Mickey when he came out, but the line stretched around the store and down Main Street and decided to take it later.

The first ride I decided to hit up was Space Mountain, it was only a 15 minute wait.

Next stop, I wanted to see if I can catch a Dream Squad at Big Thunder, and yes, they were at the exit. So, I went on and rode it, but when I got off, they were gone, sad,

At this time, I headed over to Dca and rode Screamin'. Stitch enjoyed it.

When I got off, I called Thrax to see where to meet up and he said he was in Critter Country. I made my way over there. Along the way, Stitch gave his opinion on Pressler:

I guess he wasn't very fond of him.

I arrived in Critter Country, but Thrax was nowhere to be found, so I called him up and he told me that he was going to get a FP for Indy. So, I went over there and grabbed a FP and waited. When I couldn't wait anymore, I was on my way out of Adventureland when I ran into TikiRoomLiz. We made our way to the NOS train station to meet up with Thrax and DisneyIPresume.

They showed up so we made our way to Indy so they could get their FPs.

It was around noon, so we made our way to the Hub for the meet.

Soon, it was lunch time and we all made our way to the French Market.

Boxes of candy hearts and lollipops were given out:

After lunch, we headed to the Haunted Mansion with LightMouse leading the way!!

After mansion, most of the group split, which left me, JennOwned, Goober1107, Thrax, and DisneyIPresume.

We left DL to check out the rides in DCA. On the way out, I caught sight of Maynard. He called Stitch a blue guinea pig, lol,

Exiting DL, Jenn pointed out a hidden Mickey behind the "R".

The line was too long in DCA, so we left. Upon entering DL, we headed towards Space, but not everyone had FPs, so we left and decided to ride the train to NOS. There, we met up with MikeChat, formally known as HauntedMansionMike.

Then, we all headed to Indy together. Luckily, someone gave us three FPs for those who didn't have a FP.

After Indy, we went on Pirates. While waiting in line, Aashee and his daughter joined us.

We rode the Mark Twain after Pirates.

We left DL and went back into DCA and rode Monster's

Next stop, we went to get our free tortilla at the Tortilla Factory and free bread at the Sour Dough factory. Luckily, the corn tortilla side was open at the Tortilla Factory and since I never had one, I got a corn tortilla.

After we had our fill of tortillas and bread, Aashee, made a suggestion of going on the Sun Wheel, but I refused, but eventually obliged. We got on the non - swinging one.

Basically after we rode the Sun Wheel, we all spilt up and called it a night.

I went back into Disneyland and stayed around and watched the fireworks by the Matternhorn.

After the fireworks ended, I took the monorail to DTD and waked to the structure and called it a night after a fun filled day at Disneyland with Mice Chatters!

Wow great pictures dan. I like the sun wheel part it has a beautiful view at night. Im too chicken to go on that one thanks.

Maynard! When I started researching my trip I actually stumbled upon him and quickly added him to my list of people I'd love to get a photo with. I just love his spirit and his fun nature.
