Best Kept Secret @ Disneyland Resorts!

The Best Kept Secret at Disneyland is before you even get out of your CAR. Depending on the Day and Cast Members on the clock, you can Park in the Pumba parking lot for free!!! Today 2/18 we parked for free. No waiting in line for the tram or elevator. (Those of you with strollers)
Today we left the park at 4:00pm. Two of us were parked in the Pumba lot and two others were parked in the structure. We both left at the same time. After getting into our car (pumba lot) we jumped on the 5fwy heading North from DisneyWay. My friends who were in the Structure didn't get into their car for another 26 minutes. For people who know So.Cal and freeways I was on the 605 Fwy next to Rose Hills when my friends finally started heading out of the structure. Shocked you bet. Having an PAP parking fees don't apply but time and ease sure do! Try Pumba you'll like it! Trust me! If you don't agree I'll buy you a Churro!!

Oh ya. I forgot Disney uses the same line in their Time share deals. This secret I think is better though..

Sadly this secret has a time limit as the upcoming dca expansion will eat up some if not all of the parking lot.

DCA will eat up the Timon lot not the Pumba lot.

unless names have changed and i am not aware of it.

If i remember correctly the Pumba lot is a block away north of Garden walk.

The parking lot is located on DisneyWay behind the Ramada. I think Disney opens it up on those busy days only. It's worth checking out if you have the time and want to possible save $$. With this 2fer going on I would think it would be open most weekends. They do have a toll booth but most of the time no CM on duty. The walk from Pumba to the resort is about the same from Timon to the resort. Once you discover it you won't ever want to park in the structure again and have to deal with the Trams.
