Smile Is it true that DCA is markably less crowded than DL on Weekends?

We are planning our trip and someone just told us to plan to go to DCA on the Weekend as those are Disneyland's busiest days.

    Is this true? Any Advice?

yes, dl is busy on the weekends and yes dca is less busy than dl...and even if it does get busy dca has wider walkways so it never feels crowded.

DCA is way less crowded then D-land on weekends.... but the past few weekends have been quite insane in the "other park"

normally Disneyland is much more crowded on saturdays than Sundays. DCA is always less crowded then Disneyland and when it is crowded like someone mentioned it has much wider walkways.

Also DCA mormally gets more people on sundays than saturdays.

DCA is markedly less crowded than DL. Period. End of sentence. All the time.
Now, DL is very crowded on weekends, as the "When will DL be busy in 2008" sticky thread at the top of this forum states. I'm not sure whether choosing DCA over DL because of that is a good enough reason. I'd probably just stay home if that were the case. I've got a list of things to do around here that won't get done on their own.

Yes. No question about it. And that's the bottom line, cause Stone Cold said so.

The upcoming California Food and Wine Festival at DCA should be more popular than ever. So weekends during April and May should be rather crowded.

With the 2fer DCA has been really crowded on the weekends, especially Sundays.

DCA is always less crowded. Not sure how this will stand once TSM opens. So if you are planning a trip, make sure the day you think will be most busy at the resort, go to DCA that day.

Enjoy the 2fer while you can everybody. Something tells me that the expansion will eliminate the need for this inducement within the next two or three years.

When TSM opens, there will be a long line in DCA for TSM. And likely nothing else -- except maybe for Screamin' since it's so close: no reason to go all the way to the end of the park for just one ride. Mainly AP'ers, getting their first ride in. This will take at least three months to subside, if it is as good as Monster's. Might take more if it's better, i.e., if there is major rerideability.

Perhaps someone elase can provide historical info on the subsiding effects that occurred with Buzz, Monster's, and Nemo (Nemo will be a special case, due to its low capacity). I'd do it, but Al's updates are the best monitoring device out there, and it is not archived. (hint, hint.)

    Was this a type-o?
