Little Mermaid, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Journey To the Center of the Earth or,,,? What type of Fantasyland attraction would you like to see installed in the motor boat cruise area?

If it's done well, I'm all for a Little Mermaid attraction in the motorboat cruise area.

Sleeping Beauty darkride: "Journey to the Forbidden Mountains"

Guests follow the three good fairies as they attempt to save Prince Phillip and help him escape from the Forbidden Mountains. Along the way, they will encounter the traps set forth by Maleficet's henchmen, Diablo, and of course the mistress of all evil, Maleficent herself. The climax of the attraction occurs when guests come face to face with the fire-breathing dragon. But all ends happily ever after, as Phillip awakens his sleeping love, and they all live happily... once upon a dream.

Something like Journey to the Center of the Earth, maybe themed to something else.

I'm envious that I won't get to ride it (anytime soon, anyways).

Oooo! Aura, this would be one dramatic ride...especially if the dragon were to be a large animatronic. Talk about creative!

Thanks. I've been working on it for sometime (in my mind), along with a Villains ride, a Bald Mountain ride, and a "Sleepy Hollow" themed store for any of the Fantasylands, even ones that have not yet been made, like mine! LOL.

Oh yeah, and the dragon would be a very large animatronic and would "spit fire" and have movement (at least all throughout its neck and head, along with its wings).

EDIT: By the way, that image is awesome! Let the fire-breathing begin!

I think Little Mermaid would probably be the best fit for the area, especially if they take that area in a more aquatic direction. That said, I also voted for Beauty and the Beast, because I WANT MY FREAKIN' RIDE, DAMMIT!

    Phew. I'm done now.

Yeah, well your Beauty is gonna have to deal with my Beauty! muhahahahahaha. All you've got are a pack of wolves, an overly vain villain, and a kind-hearted beast. I've got the mistress of all evil and a fire-breathing dragon to boot! So ha! I win! Muhahahahahaha! Just kidding!

Actually if a Sleeping Beauty ride got built, I would be okay with the removal of the Snow White ride and putting a Beauty and the Beast ride there. But you can't get rid of Snow White, until you have Sleeping Beauty. I am a BIG fan of Snow White, but Disneyland's version is not up to par with the other versions in the other parks, and if Sleeping Beauty came to DL, I would hardly miss Snow White.

Oh trust me, I'm a Maleficent fan. But as far as she goes, I'm holding out for a Forbidden Mountain e-ticket with a few more villains, and I don't think that MBC has room (or the need) for that kind of thing. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a villains e-ticket relatively soon, but it would probably go into the Festival Arena or the Fantasyland Theatre area.

As long as I get Sleeping Beauty somewhere, you can have Beauty and the Beast in Motor Boat Cruise area. You're right, mine probably wouldn't fit. But I want a Sleeping Beauty ride seperate from the Villains ride. The Villains ride would work as part of a Bald Mountain ride though... Wow... I am really into imagineering, I guess... LOL

As always I would like to see an Aristocat or Dalmation ride, let's have some kitties or puppies hanging out!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

A 101 Dalmatians ride is very do-able. Aristocats... not as much. But still a wonderful idea!

Re: What type of Fantasyland attraction would you like to see installed?

I suggested a Rescuers concept ages ago, and still think it's cool.... a queue in the shape of an old riverboat.... and interactive features during the ride. Gotta keep Evinrude energized! Watch out for bats! Collect the diamonds! Oh no, the tide is coming in! Extra points for returning Teddy to Penny! Perfect for the canal boat area.

On a separate note.... I had a dream last night that I was on a guided tour of Disneyland, and got a sneak peak of new attractions. To my horror (and verbal scoulding of the Tour Guide), the Submarine area had been transformed into the TACKIEST mini-golf course.... where you pay to play! AUUUUUUUGH!
