Oh, that sounds much more promising and reasonable! Thanks!

You can buy your tickets through DLR, or where ever and get the early entry? Where is the best deal on tickets? Also, I want to upgrade to a PAP, so if a five day hopper is $160, I pay the difference $320 - 160, right? What if I get a better deal on the tickets? What if the 5 day SHOULD be 180, but I get them for 150, is the price on the tickets?, or would I pay the difference between 180 and 320? thx!!
The best place to get your discounted ParkHopper is from AAA, if they are sold at your local branch, since they come with free parking.

If not, then Disneyland.com offers them with no charge for standard shipping.

As for upgrading, you get credit for the price you paid (so you would get the lower price) against any AP that costs more than the ParkHopper did.

Just make sure the tickets are called Bonus or Plus to get the Early Entry.

I have friends that just returned from a DL trip with leftover Toontown Madness vouchers. They offered them to me because they know that I have an AP and go to Disneyland a few times a year, but can an AP get into Toontown Madness with a voucher?

Yes, just enter the park as soon as possible, and head directly to Toontown, as it is offered at Park Opening. Just hand over your voucher to enter the area.

All they check for at the gate to Toon Town is the voucher, so it ought to work for you. It's not as if people are printing up counterfeits.

Just remember, you want to be there pretty much right as it opens. The ceremony happens about 10-15 minutes after the gates open, and if you dilly dally your way up Main St and through Fantasyland, you could miss out.

Re: Early Entry and Mickey's Toontown Madness

Darkbeer, where are the days of Early Entry published? Or should a visitor call the park just before their visit (I'm assuming here that the EE days may change as the Park slips into its off-season schedule, into Christmas, back into off-season, etc.)

Re: Early Entry and Mickey's Toontown Madness

They are normally Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays. Some adjustments have been made due to the Grad Nights, but those have been the days since January.

I doubt that they will change, they want to have it at least every other day, as they feel only once in 3 days would not work for some folks with EE.
