Dessert and seating still offered for Fantasmic?

Do they still offer reserved seating and dessert for Fantasmic?
I am getting mixed answers on this.

i thought they did this up at the disney gallery! is that wrong? i mean, it's gone now, so they'd have to find a different place for it if that was where they held it.

If anyone has any idea about this I am also very interested. We leave March 15 for our Disneyland trip. I thought our APs were good until April but upon further looking, they expire March 18th so we will only get Sun, mon, and Tues in the park. I am bummed as hubby says we can't renew right now.

Desert box and seating is offered for any showing of Fantasmic!

Reservations are $59 for adults and $49 for children, and can be made by calling 714-781-4400 between the hours of 8am and 5pm, 7 days a week, but only 30 days in advance.

The seating is ON the riverfront between Pirates and Haunted Mansion. There is NO seating on the balcony, as this is now the dream suite.

Is it worth doing on the riverfront?

You get a side angle view of Fantasmic! I pass on that.

I thought they moved it now since the Dream Suite is up and you get a shotty little box of desserts. I wanted to do this when it was buffet style and up in the gallery but now doesn't it seem a bit overpriced to sit on the side with a box of cookies for 50 bucks?

Re: Dessert and seating still offered for Fantasmic?

I've done the riverside seating for Fantasmic. It's a good but not the best view.

To me the benefit is in the timed saved not having to stake out a place. I typically only get to the park every few years so making the most of a trip is important to me.

If you are planning a group get together then I would skip the formal (and pricy) seating and just grab a spot early, hang out and visit with friends, send out expeditionary teams for churros or White hot chocolate and basically make it your own party.
