    Sorcerer's Apprentice trip report

We just got in yesterday, after being away 9 days we had to get some groceries, un-pack luggage, I had to back up more than 900 photos from memory sticks and 3 hours of video from the camcorders hard-drive. We were all so tired after going nearly non-stop 16 hours a day for 8 days straight.
I will most likely be able post some pictures tonight. I'm resizing many of them for posting, they are 2544 x 1696 inherently (great for television slide shows) I was up,in the middle of the morning starting to manage them. My folks are anxious for some email pics.
I'm swamped at work, (pretty typical when I've been off for a week).
Summary: We had a fantastic time, mild weather kept line waits to under 45 minutes for everything except Nemo.
We landed on Friday and got to hotel (best western) at 4-4:30, walked to food 4 less, stopped had dinner at Taco Bell, then went shopping for granola/energy bars mid-day snacks pretzels, chex-mix, other misc. snacks, etc. bread, peanut butter/jelly (lunches) a case of bottled water, then I called a yellow cab to take us back to the hotel with the goods. $60 for all the snacks and lunch for 7 days (we ate chimichungas on Saturday) The cab ride was 12 bucks.
We went to DTD and poked around, shopped at The WOD until 8:30 or 9 and watched a movie and the fireworks from our room, we had a room on the 3rd floor facing the park.
Pictures to follow... soon! (tonight most likely)

I'm lookin' forward to sharing the pics too!

    My lunch time now:
Oh, yeah, one big thing I forgot, this was the first time my 8 year old son (he'll be 8 in 11 days). was able to ride Screamin', which is now his hands down favorite ride at DCA.

We did Indy first every day except Friday, we did morning madness that day, although rain (not rain by Seattle standards, sort of a mist. we didn't even use the ponchos (purchased for GRR) canceled the sho we did get pics with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. Beat the long lines too. Did the coaster and RR, then split for Adventureland.

I'm impressed with the walk to Food4Less! That's a little bit hairy, especially at night...but whoa, 12 bucks to get back? Which takes all of 30 seconds down Katella? Pro-fit!

Thnaks for the report. It's nice you got a lot of family photos, a lot of trip reports just have the sights.

    Thanks!

    Re: Finally...my pics from 02/16 - 02/23

I asked a CM twice to take our picture (whole family) when we were at the front on POTC and IJA.

I really enjoyed offering to take other peoples picture for them, sometime people ask, but knowing how shy I feel, I offer when the opportunity presents itself. I means alot.

    NIGHTIME!!!

Left the tripod in the room, these were mostly taken from trashcan tops or pillar shoulders.
