    [PhotoWalk] - February 2008


    Welcome all! Welcome to my February 2008 PhotoWalk Thread.

    A few things before I get started, I'm going to change the way I post my my photos each trip. I will now only post my photos at the end of each month, so I only have photo thread per month. Also I have switched photo hosting to photobucket and will be trying to post bigger file sizes now for your enjoyment!

    Lastly my previous updates (hosted on flickr) may not exist anymore, but my account still does. If you check the link in my signature you can see some of my other Disney, and non-Disney photography.




    Welcome to Disneyland, I will be your host for the rest of your stay.



    It seems they have moved the fireworks shooting location from the castle to Big Thunder Mountain.


    I will be fairly busy this week so I may get around to posting again tomorrow morning so check back then for more. Enjoy!

    Here is part 2

    I'm not sure how many part my trip report will be, I'll upload in small batches. These next few are from DCA in the Hollywood Backloct and Paradise Pier.




    El Capitan at DCA, not the real Hollywood.



    I've never seen anyone take this shot, I particularly liked it.



    Lights from under the Marquee at the Animation Studio.



    Dial M for Muscle, homage to one of my favorite movies Dial M for Murder



    I rarely try to post two similar pictures in the same thread, but I really liked the way they came out, and just different enough.

    Here's part 3, some more of DCA then some more fireworks.

    I had never seen these shop windows in the Hollywood Backlot...











    If you think big, you can pretend that these are from the real Golden Gate Bridge








    Now over to Disneyland...Here are my personal favorite firework shots of that evening.















    I scoped out some different spots around Big Thunder, the photos came out 'just ok' due to the lighting in the area. But I do highly recommend it is a awesome viewing area.

    I have a few more pictures to post, again I'll have that opportunity sometime tomorrow. Tomorrow you can look forward to some Pirates of the Carribean and some Mark Twain. Enjoy!
