Re: transportation question

Rent a Car is a good option, as there are no additional parking fees at the CCI.

I like using Hotwire.com to check out the low rates on my exact dates, then try and find a better deal, if I can.

If you don't want to drive, from LAX, my preference is the Disneyland Express Airport Bus, low fares and runs about every 30 minutes most of the day...

Star Trek teleporters.
Oh, you want something that exists now? Then you'll have to go to San Francisco and hope that Star Trek IV is happening at that very same moment. Or to other places at other times during The Original Series where they went back in time to "the present."

1. Rent a car. Helpful if you plan to go elsewhere on your trip.
2. Disneyland Express Bus.
3. Private car -- "limosine service." No smelly strangers.
4. SuperShuttle / PrimeTime Shuttle.

Depends heavily on number of members in your party.
One, two, three: Bus
Three-Five: Limo service.
six+: rent a minivan.

Re: transportation question

Thank you! Although the teleporters sound great I think we'll have to stick with the Express bus. Where do we get it at LAX, I've never flown in there before.

Basically in front of the Terminal you are exiting. The Baggage Claim areas are on the lower level, once you step outside of the building, you will see the roadway, in the center island, there will be marked signs, you want to find a Green "Flyaway, Buses and Long Distance Vans" sign. Then just wait for the large White Greyhound Style Bus that is clearly marked with the "Disneyland Express" Bus Wrap.

Here is a map of the Airport loading zones...

And a map that shows which airline lands at which terminal...

But they do have a shuttle though it indicates "to the resort" which may or may not include the Bus pickup/dropoff - wherever that is these days.

On the PDF I have, it says "on call" for CCI. For "on call" it says to "phone (714) 978-8855 to arrange pickup 24 hours in advance. Reservations are appreciated for all outbound transfers."

I would make reservations for both ways. Doing it online you can save a couple bucks.
