Hey guys! Does anyone know when they start the Halloween festivities at the park in October? We're going to be in Disneyland October 12th through the 19th.
Thanks in advance for your answer....

I believe the decorations and stuff start to go up the end of September. Last year I went to the Mickey's Halloween Treat the first weekend in October and everything was pretty much in place by then. So by the time you will be there everything will certainly be set up!
Ditto ^^ You're good to go!

I think only kids can wear costumes during regular park hours. I think the only time adults can wear costumes is during the actual halloween festivities at DCA (which has a name that I can't rememberr at the moment).
A little piece of heaven
In Disneyland costumes can only be worn by children I believe, but I forget the age cutoff. Adults are not allowed to wear costumes in Disneyland. The only time adults can wear costumes is if they are attending the Mickey's Halloween Treat in DCA, which is a separate ticket.
When I went to Mickey's Halloween Treat, there were many adults as well as kids in costumes. And there were some really cool costumes also!
Costumes are allowed for children 5 and under I believe. The only exception is if you attend Mickey's Halloween Treat in DCA (we were there the first week end of Oct last year as well!) then the entire family is encouraged to be in costume.
Other than that, no costumes allowed unless you're a little tyke.
man i cant wait for MHT this year since ill actually be able to go

The cutoff for child in costume is age 9.
