There is one hot MILF there waiting for Alice...

Thumbs up Re: Save the Rainforest - Keep "it's a small world" a classic.

There is something that needs to be addressed when comparing the line for Pooh vs Alice; Alice is smack in the middle of Fantasyland, whilst Pooh is in the back of Critter Country which is a "Dead End" section of the park (I HATE that BTW). Most people turn around after HM and go through Frontierland or Adventureland. I actually enjoy Pooh myself (I guess that could be taken the wrong way...). From what I understand the WDW version isn't much better than the DLR version. And of course, we can all dream of a TDL version one day as well... Is there versions of Alice different in other parks? I know in DLP there isn't an actual Alice ride, there is the fabulous Labyrinth walk-through. Simply stunning IMO. Wish we could get that here myself!

If our Pooh was only a mere clone of Florida's which was built 3 years prior, I can assure you that more people would be lining up to see it. There are more scenes, more characters, and a more ingenious use of tigger bouncing than the current sea-sick constant roll we have here.

Disney execs should also understand that location does make a huge difference, as you have mentioned, so they needed to really step it up and make Pooh a good one, and not a weaker, slower, more boring attraction than the rest of them.

I think it's been posted many times already by CMs and Al alike that Pooh gets better numbers than the Country Bear Jamboree, and not too long ago a Cast Member here posted that Pooh's numbers were better than Nemo.

Of all the dark rides at Disneyland, Pooh has the highest capacity so clearly it should have the shortest line. However during Spring Break I saw the line get up to 30 minutes for Pooh.

How is the rainforest today? Has it been saved yet?

We will be last to know. If the stink has persuaded Disney that it would be prudent to tone down or eliminate the proposed IASW changes, I wouldn't expect them to admit it. They're going to open the refurbed IASW and act like what's there is what they had planned all along.

Couple of things...

I'm not one of those country bear lovers. I understand that attendance was pretty poor for the bears. How many more guests do you need to beat them? Of course Pooh was going to do better than the bears. If someone said that a new ride wouldn't be more visited than a 30 year old show, they'd be fooling themselves. And better than Nemo? HAHAHAHHAAH good lord.

Pooh has a higher capacity. WHY? Because they see how popular the ride is in Tokyo and in Florida, which still has its fast pass machines btw. Unfortunately, they didn't give us Tokyo's ride. Nor did they give us Florida's. They dumbed it down and yet, STILL made it higher capacity.

There's a failure there you're refusing to see and that's that they were expecting a much higher ridership while fooling us into a lower quality ride. Lower quality compared to the others is not an opinion. It's a fact that there is considerably less to see in our version of Pooh.

A successful ride will not cycle through an empty vehicle often. Pooh does it often. And it's not 30 years old like Pinocchio. It's brand new. Even Monsters Inc has steadily increased their ridership recently. Pooh had a fluke 30 minute wait when you went during spring break. That's something I have yet to see.

If you do see it again, please snap a picture and show us.

Believe it because of what ONE cm says? Is Pooh having more riders than Nemo because of capacity? Cos that sure would make more sense.

How does the capacity of the Submarine Voyage stack up against Pooh? I believe Sub capacity hovers around 1,000 riders per hour, right? What's Pooh's riders-per-hour capacity?

Much of this discussion is missing the forest for the trees. If a ride is sending empty cars through on a fairly regular basis, then it is performing below the expectations for it when it was designed and built.

Period.

If we just put more pressure on WDI, I am sure they will keep ISAW a Classic!

Or if the Disney family pulls a Bruce Wayne.

...

Nobody will get that.

Well, that would be the logical conclusion, wouldn't it? mrfantasmic and MrLiver are the ones trying to justify the poor performance of Pooh by citing phantom attendance figures that they can't actually produce.
