Upon your visits, is there anything or any attraction that you avoid when you are at Disneyland?
We usually avoid Tomorrowland these days - not much we can do with Grant.....if there was a PeopleMover, we'd be there often, but he's to small for Star Tours and Space Mountain........so we just avoid it.......

We have the dog so we avoid any big ride and we don't take the tram (you get a nice quarter mile, half mile walk if you don't use the tram, and when you have a dog that is soooo nice.).
Good answer! We went last Wednesday - crowd as minimal.......went again on Saturday - UNBELIEVABLE how many people were there on a Saturday. So, avoiding crowds is indeed a good answer!Originally Posted by BFJen
I avoid the west side of the park after dark if F! is running, I hate the crowds. Also with isaw down, and the rsik of my kids sucking me into the PFF, we avoid Toon Town at the moment as well, which is sad, I miss Roger.
DD, as far as Tomorrowland goes, I always hit there because my kids love BLAB

We definitely stay pretty far away from the Tiki Room...I know that it's a "classic", and we do it justice by watching it once a year to see if it gets any better (it doesn't), so we have decided to just not even think about seeing it...Sorry Walt.
We saw one guy sleeping in the corner...and I was jealous.
Yes! In the same vein, we try to avoid the afternoon crowds by taking a mid day break. And by eating a early lunch and dinner to avoid the busy meal hours. The hub is a place to avoid during Remember, and the whole parade route is avoidable during a parade.

On a cold winter evening buy a hot coffee or hot chocolate and take it with you in there. Its a nice place to sit and feel productive while drinking your drink.
Now that I think about it, I've been mostly avoiding Critter Country since Pooh replaced the Bears. Splash Mountain isn't a big draw for me, as I don't want to get wet if it's too cold, and the lines are too long when it's hot outside, so I think I've only been on it once and Pooh twice (hey, I gave it a chance) since the Bears closed. Otherwise I just don't venture past the Haunted Mansion.
I try to avoid anyone who's smoking...YUCK!!
Personally, I think Disney should ban smoking all together throughout the Resort!
ORGOCH: Hmpf!! Take it from a cauldron gal who knows! The most important thing ta avoid at a Dizzy theme park is yer dang FAM'LY!! 'specially when ya got two losers fer sisters like I does!!!
Long lines, greasy food, Fantasyland, and Toontown.
right now we stay away from IASW because my son does not understand that it is down for a few months. Everytime we go to the area he asks to get out of his stroller so he can get on the ride. If we have to pass it to go into Toontown, I usually distract him with snacks or a cookie. Hey, desperate times calls for desperate measures!
