Have a blast! I did this two summers ago and was there for 4th of July by myself... wouldn't have traded it again for a million bucks!

Good Idea! With the temperature remember Grizzly River Run has a single rider line too that will save you an hour if you don't have a fastpass.

Oooo! Good to know! Especially since those are water rides I might save those for certain times of day anyway. I like getting wet, it's staying wet that will be a problem. LOL Maybe dunk on one and then go back to the hotel and change. :P

Here's another HUGE tip. I hope other MiceChatters can back me up on this one. Grizzly River and Roger Rabbit are NOT hooked up to the central fastpass computer. This means you can get a fastpass for either one and get another one 5 minutes later rather than waiting.

Last time I tested this it was still true. So grab a FP for GRR and then go get one for Soarin. Also Disney still does not enforce the cut-off time of the FP so you can always pick it up and come back well after the cut-off time.

Summer.... this is So Cal...our average humidity level is like... what?? 15%?? You won't have to worry about staying wet. Trust me, in June you'll be dry in less than 10 minutes, even if you get drenched.

A change of socks is good if you happen to get really soaked.

    A few more questions.

    1. Is Nemo still as busy? Is there certain times of day to hit it that work better than others? Has the appeal died down at all?
    2. Is your Autopia on a track?
    3. Is the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail just a glorified kiddie play area?
    4. How jarring is the movable cars on the Sun Wheel?
    5. Any special place I should sit for the Aladdin show?
TSM what i'm hear is Mid June.
Nemo Moring Is great (60 min wait)

Autopia WDW is a race track But Disneyland Autopia is a city drive and same type track to steer car.

RedWood Creek Challenge Play Area yes But nice to walk around.

movalble cars on the sun Wheel some people can get sick in them.

I can't remember name of second area.

    Re: Summer's Questions

1.) I booked the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose and while checking the menu I saw something called "The Vintner's Table," is that the same thing?
2.) I only allowed one day for DCA, I'm kind of a relaxed explorer when it comes to theme parks, because of that, do you think that one day is enough for DCA?
3.) How much do you think I should budget for Napa Rose, I won't be drinking wine so it will only be the food that I'll be getting. I know it's expensive, just need to know "how" expensive.
4.) With the removal of the Gallery seating for the Fantasmic Dessert Experience, is the new location even worth it? Or are you blocked by all the people in front of you?
5.) What are the main differences between each side of the Matterhorn?

    Thanks for all your help!

    1. Vintner's Table at Napa Rose is a Prix Fix meal of 4 courses. I usually always go for this as long as Lamb isn't the main course. WONDERFUL. The Napa Rose menu offers such wonderful items, sometimes it's a challenge to choose --in this instance, I always order the Vinter's Table. It will run you approx. $75. I would budget $100 if you're planning on appetizer (omg, scallops!!), salad, entree, dessert. PLUS they seat you w/ a superb assortment of breads. If you're not a big eater, you could easily satisfy w/ just the breads, and appetizer ,salad and dessert (don't skip their dessert offerings!), and skip the entree. It's my favorite place for a meal in DLR.

You need more than ONE day for DCA...at least a day and a half. You'll want to go back for Soarin' , Screamin' and TOT...and quite possibly ToyStory!

I still very much enjoy the premier viewing seating for Fantasmic! down by the water. Yes, the Gallery seating was better...but down by the water munching on delightful sweets and sipping hot cocoa is still VERY nice.
Just countin' the days til the next visit!

The 2 sides of Matterhorn are different. The tomorrowland side is much rougher with bigger drops. The fantasyland side is more relaxed but both sides are fun. I'd ride them both if you have enough time. Make sure you ride one at night too, the lines are usually shorter then as well.
