    Sad No Holiday Fireworks!

In Friday's issue of The Disneyland Line a CM asked if there was going to be showings of Believe for the holidays.

The response was NO! Remember is scheduled to run through the holiday season. But there will still be snow after the show. I guess we were all bad little boys and girls this year. Enjoy your lump of coal.

    Re: No Holiday Fireworks!

Speaking of the holiday fireworks... Over on VF the small world projections got me to wondering what they'd do over the holidays with all those lights on the overlay. I know they can turn the lights off but it still might look weird and ruin being able to see the projections, which would be a shame because that'll be another very busy period where the extra crowd control viewing space is valuable.

Here's a crude artist's conception, namely my quick attempt at an overlay

    Re: No Holiday Fireworks!

I'm torn, I REALLY love Remember, but Believe is special too. I guess as long as we get snow..... Since the 50th is once in a lifetime, and Christmas is once a year, I guess it makes sense, although it will be missed.

I am with you guys. I wish they would show the fireworks more often, I am continuing my sad tradition of never seeing DLR fireworks.

I won't have to worry about this because I always avoid the crowds during Christmas break/week...Too insane with all the people to enjoy the fireworks anymore... =(

    Re: No Holiday Fireworks!

Well, there's no way they'd bring back Believe, since the new fireworks are air launched, and I doubt they'd want to spend the $$$ involved in either re-engineering it to use the air launch system, or the pollution credits that the old show would use up.

I'm sure they'll think of something, though, to try to jazz up Remember if they think that's prudent.

I am THRILLED about this! Since my only trip in the near future will be at Christmas time, this means I will have a chance to see Remember!!

I figured they would do this. As long as there's snow, I'm happy. I have faith that Believe Holiday will be back next year.

Don't know why showing Remember rather than Holiday Believe is considered a punishment of any sort.

I'm one who loves the Christmas decorations but have never really cared for Holiday Believe. The "snow" never really did it for me either. Holiday Believe has been playing for a couple years now. I actually like that Remember will be shown instead. There'll still be plenty of holiday spirit to go around.
