what will they do with the dream suite?

Once the dream stay give-away is over ( i think i heard someone say that 266 nights) what will they do with the suite? Are they going to make it availible to other people via lots of money? Or will they change it back to the gallery....or does anyone know?

It will either end in fire or in ice, as the YOMD will only cease when the world does...

I think they should sell it as a tour so everyone would have the opportunity to see it.

Well they could always make it like Tarzan's Treehouse... self-guided tours. That would be one of the better options.

Has Disney not yet said what they plan to do with it?

Re: what will they do with the dream suite?

If the question is "what will Disney do with it" the answer is rent it out for $1600 a night and make a mint.

Of course not. They keep extending YOMD.

I think I read somewhere that they will never rent it out. But I could be wrong.

Re: what will they do with the dream suite?

No announcements have been made yet to my knowledge. Should be very, very interesting to see how things pan out. The Year(s) of A Million Dreams campaign can't last forever, though it certainly feels like it already has and I'm sure it'll continue to wear out its welcome. After that, I suspect the suite will continue to be a surprise giveaway to random park guests, much as it is now--there just won't be any other "dreams" aside from that.

Sigh...

Oh, and by the way, I just want to say that while I found the Dream Suite signage to be borderline acceptablein daylight, it crossed the line into just plain annoying at night. The lights don't do it for me. Feels totally out of place. I don't recall what the Disney Gallery sign looked like at night, so maybe it was just as bad, but anyway, it bothered me and I never said anything about it.

Re: what will they do with the dream suite?

It is going to be made available for the highest on Disney's corporate food chain, probably VIPs as well, people the company is trying to wine and dine...and sleep... consequently, and when there's no one higher up in the pecking order trying to get in, it will be sold nightly for a ridiculous amount of money.

What I'm wondering is whether they'll keep the Dream Squad around for the sole purpose of tending the Suite, or if they'll just stick some hotels CMs in there.

If this is the case, I'm OK with it. If the normal "what would Walt do" crowd looks at it, Walt was always interested in creating something for his special guests. Hence the creation of Club 33.
