Re: favorite attraction, loop, or queue music in the Parks?

The loop while waiting for the Teacups. A lovely fife instrumental version of Very Happy Unbirthday. For some reason out of all the music at Disneyland this one sticks with me. Even considering IASW *twitch*

Main Street music loop; the sounds and dialouge from certain windows over Main Street, the phone line in the Market House.

Main Street. If I lived close enough for an AP, I would probably spend a number of afternoons a year on a bench somewhere soaking it in.

Re: favorite attraction, loop, or queue music in the Parks?

Well I'm a huge fan of music from the 30's and 40's which is why I LOVE the Main Street loop. Most of the music in that specific loop is played by the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra. I enjoy the sound a lot. It really takes you back. I'm also a big fan of the Indy and Jungle Cruise area/queue music as this is also very big band era.
I like sitting in NOS and listening to the Dixieland Jazz, its such a fun and happy sound.
In CA i like all the music in Hollywood Pictures Backlot. Especially the queue for Tower which is once again the big band era music. All very nostalgic

actualy ALL of the music from the Haunted Mansion is considered the song "Grim Grinning Ghosts" each scene just plays a different version of the same tune

what do you suggest they play instead? It's supposed to be romantic, thus why It's the main place people propose in the park..I think it's fine..It's a wishing well..why not say "i'm wishing"?

LOL at the "drop a rope down there" line .

In the movie, Snow White stands beside (not within) the well and sings, and the well echoes her voice.

    Snow White:
    I'm Wishing...

    Well echo:
    I'm wishing...

    Snow White:
    For the one I love
    To find me...

    Well echo:
    To find me...

    Snow White:
    Today...

    Etc.

I believe they want to evoke that scene by playing the music there.

I do know how repetitive loops at work can drive you crazy, though. I used to work at a local mini golf/family funpark/arcade place and I had to endure constant loops of (depending on where I was working that day) muzak, pop music like "Breathe", or (shudder) Dance Dance Revolution music.

    A few of my favorites:

    - The Main Street loop, including the songs from "The Music Man" and "Hello Dolly!"

    - The HPB loop, including the score from Roger Rabbit, which I always liked anyway.

    - Paradise Pier's carnivalized Beach Boys music.

    - The Electrical Parade. I have fond memories of the parade itself, but I hardly ever go see it anymore. However, whenever I see a toy with flashing lights on it, or anything like that, I start humming the music from it, and I still ocassionally play the video of the parade on YouTube just to listen to the music.

    - And, of course, Splash Mountain, Tiki Room, Country Bears, Pirates, HM, etc. We need more attractions with original musical numbers like the latter four.

Also, on the subject of scores, last time I was there I was in line for BTMRR, and heard what I thought was an instrumental of "Bang Went Old Betsy", the song that Fess Parker sang as Davy Crockett on the Opening Day TV show. I asked the CMs, but they had no idea what I was talking about.

They did mention a CM who had worked on Small World so long they tuned out the music. One time, they said, the music stopped, and the CM thought "something isn't right," but they couldn't figure out what!

I love splash mountain's song, it's really nice!
As for DCA, I like Soarin' over CA's music and the ride is nice too.
