I just want to add for anyone: if you ever go to NR and you enjoyed your meal (and believe me you will!) be sure to stop by the kitchen on your way out and say "hello" and express you thoughts about your food, especially if you see executive chef Andrew Sutton. I was really impressed with the presentation and cooking demo he did for the 50YOMME, not just because what he made was so incredible but also because he was so personable and charming (not to mention boyishly handsome ). He mentioned how much it meant to him when guests stop by after a meal just to say they enjoyed the food. I'm sure he would be happy to hear from you!

We dressed business casual and felt fine. I had black cord and a buttom up shirt with no tie (Thank goodness).
I ordered the Porterhouse Porch chop in and onion ragu and it was one of the best pieces of meat I have ever had. For dessert I had the sorbet trio which was awesome.

Sorry you don't get to go wolfy, but think of how many great ideas you'll have when you do!

I hope that you did not cancel due to the fact that I will be hanging out with him today and then later tonight with a few other people on his day off.

If you do ever go, I have only bit of advice to offer. When I last went they had a special menu item called something like "Chef's Selection". Basically it was like 3 small entree portions (appetizers, and meals), and then a desert. It's stuff you can only get by choosing this item. It's a hell of a meal, and I'm sure it's even better if you opt to add the wine sampling with it.

Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!
