A bunch of us are driving all the way down from NorCal. We are staying right across the street from the DLR, July 15-19(I think), and all of us have AP's. I can't wait to ride Space Mt. See the new parade & the fire works, hang out with my friends and just have a great time. :D
I think our Hotel is right next to HoJo's.
Come hell or high water I will be there, trecking in from NoHo!
As much as I wouldlove to be there I will be arriving from Australia a week later , bah humbug.
But this year will be insane with the people and the people and the people. In Australia they have already started a huge cmpaign for the 50th Anniversary, they have a special brochure at all the Travel Agents and everything.
Once again I proved my incredible Disney nerdiness by picking up 5 copies. One to use, one to stick in the photo album, oe to cut the picture of the front image out to stick on my wall at work and the other two for the collection.
We will be there for sure!! Coming down from Canada, staying at the HoJo.
How many people are staying next to or across the street from the DLR?
Yeah... we booked back in July of last year, and got a great rate :monkey:Quote:

We are driving from San Jose on the 15th and staying I think until the 19th. Same hotel, Park Inn. We normally stay at the Hojo but for this event we wanted to be a bit closer last Oct I got sick of stumbling back to the room by ourselves :o we booked back in the fall for a really good rate. I can't believe I'm this excited already and still five months away!
Disguy- are you taking the 101 or the 5?
We're gonna have to meet up at a Starbucks:D
The 5, 101 takes waaay longer from what I hear. Yes a starbucks meet will be needed. I refuse to stop at the rest stops anymore. Yuck! We're planning on leaving early morning around four or five A.M I don't want to drive in that heat. I'll be bitc*y enough as it is let alone adding the heat factor  :p
I don't know what time we are leaving? The 101 is long, but the ocean view is nice.
