I'm glad I got to experience it last time I was @ the park but honestly, I could never see it again and be perfectly happy .

I was kinda like that. My expectations weren't particularly low when I saw HMH for the first time, and I was considerably disappointed, almost revolted. It felt like a perversion of the original to me. But I ended up riding it again this last December, and because my expectations were so abysmally low, I actually slightly enjoyed it. A little. Maybe. Still, I'd take the coherent theming, fully three-dimensional animatronics, appropriate use of darkness, relative realism, and sheer originality of the Haunted Mansion over its holiday overlay any day.I'm glad I got to experience it last time I was @ the park but honestly, I could never see it again and be perfectly happy .
me and my husband both love HMH..
plus, it happens to open up (this year) on our 3 year wedding anniversary!
(now i don't know if it always reopens on the 19th.. but if it does then that's cool!)
we probally won't be back down there till november (trying for bats day this year), but as long as it's there we're happy!
The original HM much like the original DL, is always my favorite.
This has been a Filmways presentation dahling.
The NBC overlay does absolutely nothing for me. I've been on it about twice and was interested in seeing the HM differently but i don't like the movie at all. I think the catch is that this overlay works for Halloween as well as Christmas so they can cover 2 holiday periods with this theming. And i know there are a lot of NBC fans out there so this definitely caters to them.
