Is there anything at Disneyland that you can collect for free on rides that not too many people know about?
I know you can get maps on the Jungle Cruise from the skipper, anything else from other rides?

You can get vomit bags on the SunWheel
I have a few old fastpasses that I kept, but that is about all I can think of.
When kids get hurt somehow in the park they get a free little plushy. I'm not sure if that's a fair trade off though!![]()

Both the Monorail and the Mark Twain have pilot licenses.
drivers license on autopia. And of course all of the "my first visit" / "my birthday" / etc. buttons.
I got water from POTC
I dunno if they would encourage that though.

At City Hall you can ask for the recipes of the food they make there. Don't bother with the monte cristo. It's easier just to buy one.
I got a list of the names of all of the carousel horses from City Hall. The ladies working didn't even know they could do that but voila! there it was.
I had no idea you could get a map from Jungle Criuse? From the actual skipper or someone on the landing?
Awesome!
Yes, you can get a map from the skipper - just ask him/her when you first get on the ship or before you get off. Most of the time they have one. You can print them on online too, but it's kinda cool to have one printed on their parchment paper.
Here's a picture of what the map looks like:

You used to be able to get apples from the Snow White dark ride.
These are all freebies that have been given out at Disneyland (and WDW) over the years... and the can all be purchased in my "Yardsale" thread. [/shameless plug]
Oh yeah. I know someone who has a couple of those "free" apples.Originally Posted by Light Mouse
