The star tours track has a lot of the pre-show audio from the announcer leading up to the actual ride. I got this track from a non-disney cd called THE STAR WARS VAULT. It's a large book that contains two cds of miscellaneous rare audio.

Re: Disneyland's new CD is out, and is apparently now the Magic Kingdom

I remember standing in the music shop on Main St. browsing around during the summer of 2005, and three separate groups of people came in asking about the PoD soundtrack. Each time, the CM politely told them it was unavailable, but offered the version of "Welcome" featured on the Brother Bear soundtrack. All three groups said "no thanks" and left, obviously disappointed. This happened on a few subsequent trips, too. It was obvious people wanted the music....and it was stupid on Disney's behalf not to get the rights for it.

VisionsFantastic, I believe, released an incredible series of fully fleshed-out attraction soundtracks around the time of the 50th Anniversary. The series was called "50 Years of ImaginEARing" Not sure if the site still has them available, but they were extraordinary -- the Indiana Jones Adventure one, in particular, was better than anything Disney has ever released in regards to that attraction.

I'll buy that, but then what's their excuse for Pixar Play not being included? It's modern..current..they should have secured all rights at the time of conception, right?

I mean, Eureka! was on the first DCA CD with no problem...

If that version is 14:05 minutes long, then that's the one I got!

    Ugh...Magic Kingdom.

I too am one of the ones that just needs the Finding Nemo track. Sadly, I am one of the ones who would buy this new release just to get that one track.

Also I am dying to get my hands on this Indiana Jones Adventure track containing way more than the one released on the Musical History of Disneyland set. I looked around on VisionsFantastic and the link unfortunately didn't work at disneymusicloops.com. So if anyone has any info. regarding on how to get this track, please let me know!

A star wars book released last year called The Vault comes with 2 cd's. On the second one, there is a version of the Star Tours ride that is twice the length of the Disneyland cd versions, and has all the voice-over and special effects that the d-land one does not.

There's one thing that interests me: the Soarin' track that is listed here - is it the actual ride score, which I already have on the 4-disc set my awesome girlfriend got for me? Or is it the Soarin' queue music that one can hear in the esplinade between the two parks? Because I want that track. Very much.

Did that make sense to anyone? Is anyone an aural-geek enough to understand what I meant there?

It's the score. The one from the esplanade is the exit-music version I believe? (also loading techincally since you hear it was you walk in the theater) but yeah not the one you're looking for.

The music you hear while you're waiting to board are scores and soundtracks to other films that Disney has licensed for use. You will never find this music on a Disney release because they are already released elsewhere.

Scores such as The American President, Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, Dave, The Distinguished Gentleman, Blue Max, The Generals, etc etc.

the queue music is that but the music once you get into the theater in between rides that's almost identical to the ride score is what he's referring to I believe.

Yes, indeed. That's what I meant. I recognize the exterior queue music themes from The Rocketeer, etc.

The music I'm referring to used to be available - I think - on a much earlier park soundtrack CD. I missed my opportunity to nab it. I don't suppose anyone else has it?

There's little chance, but hey, someone on this list once found me the long-lost interior queue music from Rocket Rods, so miracles are possible.
