Howdy again.
Today was the big Pink Cupcake Meet. The big question on everyone's mind was "Will the pink cupcakes arrive intact, or will they be ker-splatted like last year?" Well the great news is that the cupcakes were as round as Santa in December and even the most talented of Disney chefs, including the pixelated rodent variety, could not have made them taste any more magical.
On a side note - apparently there was so much pre-event talk about the cupcakes that even Vegas oddsmakers got in on the action. Betting on a flat Pink Cupcake was 2-1 against. Of course, the only reason they ever got in on this was because of a simple misunderstanding. They thought today would be an opportunity to meet Pink Cupcake, the hottest new dancer at Vegas's Olympic Garden Cabaret. It turns out she recently had surgery to get larger implants, and there was a rumor they might, well, fall flat...
OK, enough shenanigans! I know y'all are here for pictures so I will gladly oblige. Most of these are just snapshot quality, which is great since they are just that - snapshots.
So, on we go to Buttercups's bubble-blowing birthday bash!
I arrived at parking lot X around 10:30. I was somewhat surprised by the crowds.
I headed towards the canoes and a small group had already started forming.
These unsuspecting CM's have NO idea what they are in for
I figured there would be lots and lots of pictures from the loading area so I headed towards Tom Sawyer's Island.
By the time I got there a larger crowd had formed.
Ducks are cool.
