Everybody's got a laughin' place-
trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.
LOL i never posted what year I'd like to be there. Hmmm I guess I'd like to time warp it back to opening day just to see the craziness that was OPENING DAY! And I'd love to be there for any other significant park moment in Disney History. I would have liked to meet Walt himself and thank him in person.
What a fun ?. I was lucky to be there for the 50th and that was crazy and fun! But I would loved to have been there opening day and see Walt give is opening speech.
It's not a date in the past but the future. I WANT TO BE AT DISNEYLAND ON JULY 17, 2055 WHEN THE PARK TURNS 100 YEARS OLD!!! That day will probably be incredible. (I hope so!)
I'd like to have been there on opening day - 7/17/1955
I'd like to have been there on any given day that Walt Disney was there.
I'd like to be there summer 1970 - not sure why, but I would.
I'd like to return to Summer 1985 and relive the fun trips I had during the 30th!
I'd like to be there July 17. 2055! Good heavens....I'll be almost 84.![]()
Early 70's, probably 1973.
Attractions still there at that time:
Carousel of Progress
Skyway
Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland
Adventures Through Inner Space
Skull Rock and Pirate Cove
Country Bears
MSEP
But still get
Pirates
Haunted Mansion
Okay, so no Space Mountain (don't ride that anyway), Big Thunder, or Indy. Which is why I want to be around for the 100th anniversary. I'll only be 98! Took my mom when she was 92, so should be a piece of cake for me! I feel blessed that I was able to be there for the 50th!
In the past 1971, the year of my first visit. In the future 2055 to see what the 100th celebration is like.
Matthew
I'd go back to opening day and see how much the park has changed from then
I'm back MiceChat
Any year between 1983-1992, since those are the years that I have been there and I loved it then.
