Midway Mania Before and After pics

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has any pics of the MM area before they started construction? Very interested in what the area looked like before, and I admit that I never really looked into that area...because there was nothing much to see.

I don't have any pics of that area (like you said, it wasn't really worth looking at anyways), but it had a bunch of pointless carnival games that gave out cheap prizes, and a few walk-up restaurants like Maliburritos or something like that, and a fish walk-up restaraunt as well.

Oh, yeah........... now I remember. I forgot about that. It's hard to picture it before the construction.

I remember the area very well--all but one of my few visits to DCA were before TSMM construction began. Lots of boring, tacky-looking outdoor carnival games. Wish I had a picture for ya.

Disneyhound, your photo is crazy. DCA looks crowded!

2001 is when it opened though so that is understandable. I have never seen it like that.

if you go to DCA during spring break. it was very crowded. weekends still get kinda crowded.
