Includes most all elements of the parade before and after the Bugs Life acrobat float section, bungee "Rats", Toy Story "swingers" (no pun intended) and chef stilt walkers were "?temporarily?" removed due to safety.

Posted for fellow Disney fans and a thank you to the dedicated cast and crew that always bring the magic for my family when we are there to watch.

It's just like watching it, but without the wetness and sunburn!

I'm amazed at the clarity of the audio considering how much crowd noise there must have been.

Bravo!

Oh, and I liked the B&W fade of the elements that are no longer with us.

Sunburn?... yes I imagine we both have perspective when it comes to the locations we have stood to shoot. lol

Audio... I'm considering this posted version as a draft. I've got a couple of recordings I'm mixing and tinkering with...however due to the design of the parade speakers.... close quarters recording is not optimal and recording at a distance picks up ambient noise. The version presented is best balance I could feel comfortable posting at this time. I chuckle when I think of all the cast members and security with puzzled looks as that spotted me recording the isolated audio my own unique way....

I've read elsewhere that there is a custom part that is needed for the Bugs float and that the stilt walkers probably won't return due to it being unsafe to walk on a soapy, watery ground even after extensive pre-testing.

What an awesome video!!! So much fun. I can get through my DCA withdrawals better with this video available. Great job with the video and photos! And yes, the audio too. That's one of the things I hate about the YouTube videos of Disney parades is the audio quality. Your video has really great audio quality. Thanks so much for taking the time to put this together!!!

Unfortunately... no Eureka footage in the archives (shoebox in closet) but I'm bored now and might be nutty enough to work on a LIGHT TRAGICMagic! video.... I just need to talk to PhotoMatt to see if he had a camera in hand back then....lol.

I try not to take for granted...living sooo close to a place where I enjoy taking my family.

Re:time... yup it was worth the time spent.... total of 16 -20 hours of on and off of editing, mixing, photoshopping, changing mind and second guessing.

Like to do a Parade of Dreams video......just time is my enemy and I want to buy and HD cam now and take photography lessons from PhotoMatt and Frogberto to name a few.
